Yep. Got the invite a day afta my second test. Appears to be in batches cos a friend got his a few days later.

Your guess is on point. Your experience would still help...an interview is an interview! At the minimum, I can have a general expectation. Useful information you can share include the strength of the panel, the kind of interview (normal, presentations), the qualities they seemed to focus on, the depth of their questions...your observations generally. It could all be helpful.

An interview is NOT an interview, my fellow NHJobber. Interview/competency demonstration just as was stated in the invite should give you a clue, a big pointer that it will basically be specific to your field. And that for Technicians (Electrical Electronics and Mechanical guys) will definately be a lot different from that of Accounts. So, dress very well. Borrow a clean suit if you don't have one; brush through the basics in your discipline; know about NLNG; be calm, don't rush in answering questions, you will be asked a lot in your field. In addition, know your CV. Good luck!

Dear forumers, any hope for pple who haven't gotten an invite for interview yet? did online testing 2 weeks ago and no feedback whether -ve or +ve!!

That was helpful, thanx. However, the basics of every interview are the same! Look good and confident, know yo cv, know yo profession, know the organisation, etc. I wasn't expecting to be asked about engineering

I wrote the NLNG Technician Test in Port Harcourt on November 12th, 2011. I haven't received any response from NLNG till now. Please are there folks like me in the house who hasn't received any response after the Technician Test? Is there still hope for us? What could be the reason for the no response (whether positive or negative)?
