Are they still inviting for tests? A second test was held at apapa lagos,ds is d much i knw abt tests

Please you are expected to report to one Hotel in Lagos on Monday 17th -20th of sept 2012 for the second phase screening of the Nigerian Seafarers Development Programme(NSDP). Pls bring with you, your original credentials. You are expected to stay at the above address for 3- 4 days. NIMASA MANAGEMENT.

@ezemagu, wen did u receive d text? jst read thru d thread,i guess sum ppl said sumtn abt d screenin. I gues they wil verify ur docs,regista u 4 international pasport and conduct medicals on u. Dats d much i gathered. Dnt fear my guy. Go and gv us more info. Gdluck.

please i don understand this people, are they not supposed to release the list of successful candidates on the internet or newspaper,i wrote for rating and really dont understand this people
Chimezie,its like its in batches. They are always kalin ppl. Dats wat i noticd. Be patient. It wil reach our turn.

i wrote as a rating in enugu. Very simple exam,yet ntn frm them. I guess its in batches
I think its in batches and maybe they want to finish with cadets 1st before they come over to ratings. Just my opinion.

From what I gathered, they are currently working on CADET.
They have not started rating.
I will give more update when NIMASA staffs arrive.
Here's the info, I can say about the Nimasa NSDP program. I attended the screening program from 3rd to 8th of this month at Etals Hotels, Apapa, where we are all lodged there throughout the second stage. Although, all the candidates has been moved to another hotel(which I cannot disclose). The program is supposed to be a big program as FG/Nimasa intends to send about 1,500 candidates for training overseas. As at the day I left the hotel, there were roughly 300-400 people that were present and more ppl are still coming. They are conducting for both cadets and ratings (seafarers). The screening is three stages. Original credentials verification, medicals and international passport stages. The cadet program is a 4yr program and the rating program is a 1 year program. Majority of the candidates for the cadet program are o-level holder, but I meet about 3 graduates there (including Teezers). It should be noted that the NSDP program is different from the graduate/ experienced recruitment for nimasa, as they are two different exercises

so do u mean that all the candidates are for cadets only or is rating inclusive,please let us know because we wrote in Abuja and i wrote as rating and nobody from Abuja have been called (i mean for ating)

There is a master list, where all invited ppl's name will be checked. Also, the coordinators will want to see the text message that was sent to and the number that sent it. They are trying to reduce the number of applicants, so any sort of trick that you try to play, and you are caught will automatically disqualify u. Also there are cadets and ratings in the program, as far as I know, they are from different states.
@Musco, We did our screening at a Hotel in Apapa and I left there on the 8th of this month, after finishing my screening (waiting for thhe final stage, I.e collection of e-passport and visa), a friend still there told me that they've been moved to another hotel in Ikeja, and that's where they are doing their screening.

@all, this is the latest information.
Is like they have finished inviting people but there are so many names arranged according to our states.
Abia state have 21 names.
Enugu state- 21 names.
Delta - more than 400
Bayelsa-more than 300
All others states are not more than 21.
U can send ur name and ur state to 07057085000 so I can check for u.
Most guys doing the screening stuff finished from my school
Moreover there is nothing like rating or Cadet. U can choose anyone from here.
