@Brotherly!.....lol......... But there has to be a way of checking indiscriminate entry into the Police Force by unscrupulous elements. The NPF should be made more juicy & for the intelligent only.

NPF does 2 kinds of recruitment. One is 4 cadet 4 those wit ssce & they get to start 4rm d lowest rank(constable) after their training. Those r d ones dat make d police job seem appaling bcos of their notorious bribery activities. The other recruitment is 4 officers and dats where graduates can apply. I tell u guys dat police officers in dis country get gud pay. Even if some1 is employed by shell he can still collect bribe if bribery is a part of him. Stop castigating d police job becos e no get work wey una papa keep 4 una. Afterall it's not by force to apply. Leave d job 4 those dat r interested. At least it will brighten their chances of getting d job. I heard d recruitment 4 graduates will be done next year,those interested keep ur ear 2 d ground.

Gzl, you re right. Absolutely. God help us in this country. But I know that the NPF is not meant for me. Thats a settled fact.

@gigaleo; the Police' bribery is just alarming and life-threatening cos they do so at gun-point.

@ gzl: I am not 2 proud our police force either dats y i'm of d opinion dat we need learned pple 2 join d force & turn things arnd. Especialy in d area of bribery & police brutality!

Reform start somewhere, someday, i tell you Police of today is different, some cadet of a grade nothing less than 2.2 for university and Upper credit for Polytechnic are now in training both in Kano and Lagos here, have a positive mind to NPF ........

NIGERIA POLICE FORCE = BLACK UNIFORM + BLACK MIND + BRIBE ADDICTION + GREAT LIAR + CLOSEST FRIEND BUT WORST ENEMY + UNPREDICTABLE + UNREADABLE + DUBIOUS PERSON.
Honest people should not be dea 4 now.may be after REVOLUTION..........ME NEVA. 4 I CAN NOT GIVE UP MY ENGINEERING CAREER FOR NPF.

the last entry in to the npf was 2009 npf specialized,they were just called in for training this year,presently there is no information about recruitment..but i will advise if you have any boby @ the police service commission,that is the right place to get ur answer from or better still google their website..

@other naijahotjobs members...the other member only asked for an information that those not mean you should start discouraging him/her from their choose career....he/she might be the lord choose to make a change in that sector..i respect u guys comments but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
