. Some peepz, today @ d towers, (haven cn da face behind da abujababy mask), came 2 ask me about kalokalo, of which i told dem dt he'd soon join us. Den a particular lady askd and i quote-"wat of nne mak? Is she wt us in da hauz (towers)?" i replied by tellin her dat i do not knw if nnemak is a he or a she but i do know dt d bearer of d name is stil xpctin d 2nd list. Now, i know better!

Never underestimate the guys who comment on this forum, you really don't know who they are - It could be your future boss!

I didn't apply for this job so i'm speaking as a neutral now...

I know about 10guys who got the offer from NNPC and believe you me, their's was on merit and not CONNECTION. From the gist they've given me they've personally not seen any "dullard" at the towers. If you didn't get the offer don't critic the process, learn from your interview and seek ways to sharpen your skills. Anyone who thinks he/she is better than people he/she doesn't have an idea of their capabilities has failed in life already.
I really have not seen any interview where all the candidates were employed so i really don't know why people were expecting everybody to be employed.

I think its time the thread is allowed to rest till the miracle of the second batch comes, this thread has hit over 2million views. I believe this should be an African record (Sure it can't beat India where a Ph.D is a starting qualification due to their population size).

Congratulate those who got the offer, don't insult them. Hope for the best in your future. There is hope ahead, reach for it and don't dine with the past.

Thank you. I have been trying to drum this into some peoples head but they will not listen. You cannot claim what you don't know. You may have graduated with a fist class but that does not make you better than someone with a 2.1. In the UK companies go through an entire recruitmant process without recruiting anyone if they don't find certain skills they are looking for. Some even prefer a staff to recommend someone and pay the staff for any successful recommendation. in Total nigeria if you like get 5.0/5.0 and pass all the test and interview if you don't pass the psychological test they will not take you. So always have a positive outlook.
