Today is Oct 1st and Naija is 51! I really enjoy the tensions & counter-tensions generated by the comments on dis thread. Probably wen dis thread gets to the 51st page, the long awaited miracles shall manifest. So kip postin on dis thread folks, and kip hope alive!
Today is October 1st....It would have been ideal to ignore your post, but for the sake of other "genuine" forumites I need to clear the air on your perceived assertions. Well, I hope it won't come as a surprise to you if I tell you that this ongoing NNPC recruitment is 90% transparent!!! {don't ask me why I'm not going for 100%}.
There's virtually nobody in NNPC that can guarantee influencing the ongoing recruitment exercise!!! I stand to be corrected.... Yes it's true that I've made some posts on this thread on some exclusive info I received from the Towers: but that doesn't in anyway mean that those NNPC Staff can influence anything in my favour. If I may add, I'm working in one of the notable Commercial Banks in Abuja {with high proximity to the Towers} as a Marketing Officer. I managed NNPC Co-operative accounts, Take placements {Fixed Deposits} from their Finance & Accounts Department, as well as managed some of the NNPC Staff's personal accounts. The goodnews is, this current recruitment ranks amongs the best ever, in terms of transparency!!! The Petroleum Minister is bent on employing the best brains available {except for the quota system, which gives undue advantage to some candidates from certain States}. Do you know that, one of my Senior colleagues whose brother is a GM in NNPC wasn't even invited for the interview....despite all his attempts to come in thru the "back-door"? I know others that got letters from the Presidency, National Assembly principal officers, etc that were not considered for Interview!!!!! You that pass the Aptitude Test, was invited for the Interview, who did you know to facilitate all that for you
......the answer is nobody!! You can quote me anywhere, this exercise is based purely on merit & quota system advantage!!! Engr.Ebiye, if you are an atheist, allow those that have faith to profess it!!! ...........'cos as a man thinketh in his mind, so is he..... The battle is not to the strong, nor the race to the swift.......it's God that showeth mercy.
@All, please keep the faith..... Nothing is too hard for God to do!!!

@Animotee, You just hit the nail on the head. This recruitment is purely based on merit and quota system. I laugh when pple just post lies and assumptions. I Told this house that NNPC will not call in Sept and someone just said it was not true. People just claim what they dont know and refused to know what they should have known. I say only the truth. Read my first post and you have nothing to worry about.
Opinions are free but facts remain sacred. why the nnpc gangstar p.r.o. onething we fail to note is the fact that humans and not angels conducted this exercise, so we should expect some flaws. even at the level of PCL some names were chipped in, however genuine the intention of the minister or gmd may be, there is always a smart way to beat the fence. and pls dont forget that the gmd, minister, pcl and nnpc hr have children, in-laws, cousins, kinsmen, e.t.c 90% merit is an exaggeration.
@Animontee. Dnt u knw dat anytin illegal and unacceptable is not done in d open or transparently. So u mean if d minista, politicians and gmd want 2 slot in d names of their candidates dey wil tel u. So u dnt knw d oda of tins in dis country anymore or ur interview invitatn has blinded ur sense of judgement. Guy, managin d acount of d cooperatn n some of its employees is not a guarantee dat u knw some of d secret tins dat transpire in d cooperatn. Dnt say bcos ur guy whose broda is a gm was nt invitd 4 interview therefore d exercise was 90 pacent transparent. Who is a gm compared 2 d big tym politicians. Dis exercise is nt more dan 50 pacnt transparent. Naija Na Corupt Country and corupt free activities cannot start nnpc ok. One Love!
pls my last sentence is corupt free activities cannot start frm nnpc.
@mbello u don dey vex no drop bomb 4 here.
@Animontee. Who are u trying to fool in this forum? You are talking about transparency in NNPC?? In Which sector of our national life would u see fairness, justice and transparency? I can tell u in plain language that 60% of those who will eventually get employed in NNPC this year are sons and daughters of politicians/business heavyweights and some of them are on this forum but they won't tell u. They won't say they have pple in NNPC who are working in their behalf. I participated in the interview and I got a guy who didn't but has already submited his medicals!Yes some pple who didn't take part in the interview have submitted their medicals! The truth is some people have CONFIRMED their names (plz dnt ask me how) and they are just waiting for official release of names! I wonder you are living in Abuja and u are talking about 90% transparency in one of the most corrupt public institution in Nigeria?? Only two classes of pple will get NNPC job this year: those who are favoured by God ( very little) and sons and daughters of political elites. Stop fooling urself brother!
