give that your job all it deserves. a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. i almost lost it because i was waiting for NNPC appointment letter. i'm not sure they deserve all these.

JA, that some parastatals cancelled & nobody went 2court suffices not 2say that one cannot not have a case should nnpc cancel wtout giving reasons. Most of the problems of Nigerians stem 4rm our culture of 'suffering & smiling', culture of silence even when our rights are obviously trampled upon. We all, like Marx's poor masses have clung 2u much on religion as our opium. I think its time we reversed this trend, what is the purport of the FOI bill if they cannot give us a reason should they decide 2cancel. While i am not in any way trying 2be incisive, i also know that the man dies, who cannot speak in the face of oppression and injustice. We all should be @alert, this is our collective patrimony we'r talking about. Working @nnpc cannot be the exclusive preserve of a cartel of some pervasive elite. We all have a right 2know, shine ur eye forumites!

finding out the reason will still not give you the job. They can tell you the process was not well organised and that will be it. I don't know of any law that says people must be employed in any recruitment process in Nigeria. But I don't believe it will be cancelled. The successful ones are resuming next year. A similar comment was posted on the DPR THREAD,regarding the completion of their exercise and subsequent budget approval. I think the timing of this gives credence to kalokalo's earlier post as nnpc and dpr fall under the same ministry. It is well.
