@YT, I quite disagree with some of ur conclusions but ur objective reasoning is commendable. I like people dat contribute and respond objectively to issues and not stoop to hauling cheap insults. And u re on point regarding the exhibition of those behavioural biases, i believe its owing to d disease of lack of objectivity dat has long beleaguered the black man,i surmise.

Merry Christmas folks. I hope you are all celebrating the reason for the season despite the delay in the dispatch of letters.

Let's exercise little patience because the letters will be out at the appointed time which will be real soon. Please do not castigate me for my personal views I wish to express. I have no source at the towers but I reckon the earliest resumption is likely to be February 2013. NNPC will definitely give its new employees at least 30days to disengage from their previous employment. There is no way resumption will be January and letter would not have been dispatched now.

Good luck folks! I wish you all a prosperous New Year and meet you at the induction by God's grace.

Even if you say it is march, I personally will not castigate you. I doubt if the real need and expectation of the hopefuls is the resumption date; I think what is paramount on our minds is receiving the letters in our hands first, after which, the secondary issue of resumption date can then gain some consideration. It is well, let us all keep hope alive and be gentle with each other on this thread as we accommodate each person's view and take on issues. Shalom.

I never in my previous post gave an indication of being inclined toward atheism, never, meaning that this is a very clear case of false accusation from you. The four of you have slandered me as devilish but with no basis whatsoever. Is it a crime to point out erroneous ways and areas for improvement?

In Isaiah 1:18 it is written, "Come now, and let us reason together", but when I gave my opinion of certain things and with reason you referred to me as someone inhabited by the devil. Is it that you are fanatics and extremists? You could not even give one reason, not one. Have you forgotten that even though the Creator gave 'Adam' a fair hearing, likewise Cain, and so much more? Have you forgotten that Pilate washed his hands off the crime that the Saviour's people wanted to commit because he found no reason to convict him of the charges brought forth against Him? Also, whenever some people wanted to test and/or ridicule the Redeemer, with logic/reason He answered their questions and showed them the error of their ways, and such conversations were not recorded in writing to fill up space but for our edification. If reason/logic is not necessary why don't you petition the Creator for giving you brains? Since you publicly called me 'devil' will you not let the public know your reason(s), if at all any?

I will repeat it, the name Jehovah and Jesus are fraudulent. Find out when the letter 'J' was introduced to Latin and English (both European with common origin) and ask yourselves whether or not it is respectable or lawless for the created to unilaterally change the name of the Creator, unless of course that rebellious created believed in the enemy instead. You also celebrate christmas, a doctrine of men that was never ordained by the Creator (see Deuteronomy 16) but you still decide to do your own thing anyway; another clear case of lawlessness. Perhaps the thing that is in you is pro-gullibility and anti-Truth.

In organizations and the academia the behaviour you exhibited is recognized as cognitive bias (though I doubt that you applied cognition) and negative group think which are frowned at. An example of the consequence is the Columbia space shuttle disaster. Just because I do not share your views does not mean you should regard me with such vitriol. This does not speak well of you. What do you want your prospective employers who might have read your reaction to think of you? Do you think they will want to employ someone who lets religious indoctrination interfere with his/her job and calls co-workers "devils"?

@kazal, for centuries some Europeans have noticed that Negroes are innately intelligent but seriously lacking in application. Evidence can be seen in the frequent stories we get of Nigerians doing well in foreign schools but no progress in our society and the low IQ (borderline retarded) reported in academic journals. The Scriptures abound with verses concerning the low IQ.

Those referring to "end time", remember that during that period nation will fight against nation (Matthew 24:7). If it starts say within the next 5 months what becomes of your dreams with NNPC?
