@Milanista,I'm always elevated whenever I read your post. It seems that you and Shampoo have some facts which the new GMD pretends not to know. For the records, the new GMD has issued offer letters to those from kaduna whose names were omitted from the initial list. They told us it was going to be based on merit, alas, it was never in the EH category. God bless our country Nigeria.
I guess you know those that work in the department to arrive at that conclusion then. He didn't say they have no experience just that those in the department are more experienced than most of those interviewed and it will not be fair to recruit them as their bosses only for them to be the ones to train them. They may as well promote them to fill those vacancies cos that is the essence of EH.
I can see everything turning around
Turning around for our good.
Very soon many hopefuls will begin to ask God for forgiveness for some negative comments they have made on this thread. Expect your surprise packages, God is working things out.

My brother I saw this coming, they are ready. Only very few students (less than 1%) win their cases with lecturers over examination victmization. That is why we need God. I have seen many quote first class and 2.1 and degrees. Do you know what others have and how they performed.
Please guys, especially those in the towers, can u let us know if you have IT guys among you, and what category they belong (OP, GT or EH). How about the medics? Anyone called? Some of us wish to know if this recruitment was just in favour of engineering, and possibly know why they took the other categories through the long recruitment journey for nothing at the end. I don't think NNPC will do that anyway. Pls someone should update us in this regard. One love!
@Danbaura/Dustydee/DEPACALON;
Your posts must have been intended to help ‘hopefuls’ move on in life and stop whining, but I guess some elements of insult is gradually creeping into it.
Victory is sweet, sweet victory, but remember that some others are still waiting for their miracles. Posting negative news in here and forcing it down their throat won’t help.
I had pleaded earlier on for people with bad news not to post it here, no matter how good your intentions are. Let us continue to hope and ‘deceive’ ourselves as you said until we can no longer hold on.
Remember all of us also have the so called 1st class & 2.1 required just like those selected. Grace has given you the job for now and higher grace has made ‘us’ to wait.
I am writing this not for myself but for the pains of those with nothing doing. Personally I am interested in NNPC for national pride just like someone just said. Stop making it seem as if we are doing nothing but just waiting for second list. I am so gainfully employed that I had no time to read from this thread for 2 days. I am not only delayed in entering NNPC but NNPC is being delayed from having a great talent like me in their team.
Watching Usain Bolt & those Kenyans/Ethiopians makes one know that God can bless us in diverse ways we cannot even imagine…….running!
I said and I repeat…their process is always fair from little experience I had. However, even in that 2005 that Accenture was told to recruit 400 GTs, they were 605 inside the induction hall and more outside with letters from diverse powerful people. The 205 of course belongs to the powerful, but the 400 must have been on merit.
About the GMD’s daughter, I think it’s only if she’s a dullard that she will try NNPC employment. For what? Levi Ajuonuma’s daughter is in Exxon-Mobil; she is smart no doubt, but not the smartness alone got her in there. A former GED/GMD of NNPC I know had his sister in-law chased about by the same Mobil for a job she wasn’t too keen about. They sent a mail to her employer then (big federal agency) asking when the lady is resuming in Mobil. HR called her and she told them not to mind them. She later left when she was ready.
Do I mention the one in Total? I hate typing such information for sake of the people that may guess who they are.
Yakubu will be insulting his person and daughter if she works in NNPC whether by merit or backdoor. What happened to Total, Mobil, Chevron, LNG, Agip, and Shell? They will gladly employ her the exact hour they get the call.
Having said that, I believe in the fairness of the process. I prayed to the point I believe that wuruwuru cannot make me loose the offer if God ordained it for me. In fact the exact day I started fasting to tell God I need this process concluded, letters started rolling out. Mine will come; don’t persuade me to move on because I am not standing still.
@those without a job, God will elevate you to the point of rejecting juicy offers.
That is my prayers for all of us..(even those in the NNPC induction).
