I have been following the proceedings and debate religiously, the group is proposing that the minister and gmd be put on compulsory leave until the investigation is completed so they won't influence it.
I haven't heard anything abt nnpc importing crude, cos that wld be senseless cos y wld they want to incur extra cost when they get the pdt cheaper locally.
I share ur pessimism, the only thing I'm holding onto is the FG's directive on job creation and youth employment in all MDAs.

i received two of such calls but not about NNPC recruitment. One claimed to be from NDE and the other wanted to 'give' me contract to supply one material to a company in Abuja. Alhamdulillah both them of failed. I was now wandering how they got my CV, because the one from NDE told me my CV was being considered for immediate employment.Quote:

Its public knowledge that nnpc is under staffed and with the imminent changes in its operation and the petroleum industry at large, even if d minister is sacked tomorrow the process will still go on. I'm more concerned abt the GMD's role cos in my eyes he's the one that decides what happens.
The dpr,nnpc,nlng recruitment exercises r running concurrently, imagine the minister coordinating all three at once, each with their specific criteria and challenges.
My point is regardless of whom d minister is, the process goes on, but a change in leadership of a subsidiary can change everything.

If JA's theory is true that she's taking the recruitmt as her personal baby, then we all r in trouble judging from what I'm seeing. Cos all her relatives and kinsmen will be on the list, even a supplementary list won't contain all of them that's y she's organising another recruitment in April. May God forgive her.

@ All: we are experiencing bad leadership in Nigeria because we have been keeping quiet. Likewise the issue of the NNPC recruitment. @All...any one with authentic news should noe hesitate to pass it acrosss. Sometime ago, it was stated that PTI and KADPOLY had beed equiped for the training for engineers and operators. Can people who has access or are living close to these institutions confirm if this is true.
Just have this confidence that the recruitment exercise will be completed (by God's grace)...nnpc cannot afford to be probed on monies spent on the exams(which will amount to wastages if cancelled). my opininion though.
@themummy: i totally agree with you...nnpc cannot afford to cancel this recruitment process cos dat will amount to adding salt to d injury on ground (probe of d oil and gas sector). like i said earlier...i am optimistic the recruitment will be concluded...all we just need to do is to pray we are among those to be employed.

Our letters will soon come. But not with this corrupt ppl. With these caliber of NNPC leaders, Many names will be substituted over night. They should all be fired while competent hand occupy the place. It will be of greater advantage to all nigerians.
My brother u can say that again. For some reason I seriously despise the minister including but not limited to the fact that before she came into office the interval btw stages was 3months max now we r heading into our 7th month of waiting. Even selecting candidates for the test and conducting it which I believe is the most difficult stage of the recruitment was done in less than 3 months.
The lists for dpr and nnpc have been ready a long time ago, so anyone hoarding it surely has suspicious intentions.
I once suggested we draw attention to our plight using social media but most hopefuls declined. Hope we don't fade as quietly as the 2008 set.
