hello house any update from any quarters? keep the hope alive.
@bidbrodanaija: lol. I think hopefuls have become wiser and have decided to move on with their lives, though still waiting anxiously.
I have no prob being relegated to the 2nd page. Cos its better not to post lies and speculations, and increase one's bp for nothing. All I know is that we all will be surprised when the ltrs emerge.
Meanwhile we lie in wait. Cheers.
From the information reaching me from the tower the process is still on going!
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
Fear not my fellow hopefuls! I was told that mr chris osarumwese suspended this process till JAN bcos there was a traditional ruler that brought a list of 50 people as his candidates (u can imagine that).this delay is 4 our good bcos mr chris n mrs allison dont want this recruitment to b business as usual.be patient n give them kudos.
FEC has given directives to all MDAs that vacancies to go ahead to recruit and those that are having pending recruitments to complete them.
Today marks 6mths since I had my interview, and never in my wildest imagination did I think I will wait this long. Hopefully the end is in sight.
On a lighter note, the transport allowance shd be paid according to the new rates after the removal of fuel subsidy. Lol
exactly six months after my interview today...... Na wa o! :(
The time does not matter to some extent. If the appropriate time comes, no one can delay it for a second. This subsidy issue is even to our favour, but our leaders can not be trusted. Apart from NNPC, working in oil and gas opportunity will widen and absorb ppl who have prepared their self. Start preparing. I support govt stick to the removal of subsidy but fuel should come from optimally performing refineries here in Nigeria. The waiting continues.
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven: (Eccl. 3:1)
When will this waiting end?
@ 4gkevin. Pls permit me to disagree with ur view on this matter. This a gross miscalculation & self conceited logic. Pls tell me who mentioned anything about repairs of the refineries. How could this issue of SUBSIDY be in our favour when there's even no clear proposal or action from the government to do something about the improving the oil industry. Pls do not be misguided, some people own this government as their investment and they want to maximise the returns: the best way to implement their strategy is to remove the SUBSIDY, nobody cares about our refineries.
Somebody was telling me that the FG has directed all MDAs to henceforth allow all graduates to sit for their aptitude tests irrespective of their classes of degrees. This are some of the things hindering d release of appt letters bcos some members of d cabal r trying to force NNPC to issue letters to dia candidates who in some case posses Second Class Lower Απϑ Third class degrees. NNPC on d oda hand r trying to delay D̶̲̥̅̊is Απϑ join d results to d intended 2012 General Recruitment.
Lets Keep Praying Απϑ keep hopes alive.
The subsidy removal is in favour of d poor masses @ d long run, dou we need to go tru some hardtimes 4 a while
@JA, u r much needed now than ever pls wat is da latest.
God, come to our aid and rescue our letas frm this hawk called nnpc.
Hopefully with access to twitter search for @Naijacyberhack. They have taken over the website of the ministry of transport in protest of the removal of fuel subsidy.
Interesting they seem to have hacked the mobile networks for the phone nos of key govt officials including the min of petroleum , the senate president, a host of senators, Adams oshimole, iyabo obasanjo just to mention a few.
with due respect bro, you misunderstand the whole subsidy thing. govt wants to attract investors to build and run private refineries by removing the price cap on pms. already, there is no price cap on diesel and other products except kero. govt wants to make the market competitive by opening up the oil industry as it did to the telecoms industry. and as we saw in the telecoms version, things will be extremely expensive before they become cheaper. the nation is still adapting to the change, an equilibrium will soon be reached and life will be easier. in chemistry its called le chatelier's principle. wish you all my fellow hopefuls a very fruitful 2012.

@iHope I just got the no,
Jesus army, where are u? What is the latest? U are keeping too quiet. May God help us in this nigeria. The govt collects things easily frm pple but to give back is always difficult. JA, pls, say sth. Shallom.
Call her and get d info for ur fellow bros/sis...
The nos are no longer reachable since abt 6PM yday, the hackers sent allegedly 1million text msgs to these nos b4 making them public so I don't blame them for switching their phones off. But before then I sent a text msg to her and the senate president concerning the recruitment exercise.
Deep down I hope the nos are genuine.
The stage we are in this NNPC recruitmt is one of the bitter truth that was very difficult to believe when we started this waiting. I employ all to knw that anything is possible while go about our normal life. NNPC can even be scrapped and life still goes on. perhaps a big opportunity could come. I thank God 4 our lives. And those who have gotten job within the waiting. desist from hacking, fraud and any illegal act. God bless Nigeria.
Dear hopefuls, information reaching me is that our letters will be dispatched before end of next week (i.e. 9th to 13th January), regardless of the planned industrial action.
Be steadfast in prayers.
There will be joy in the morning.
over one yr now we hv keep hearing " letters are coming". the possibility is as slim as one divided by the number of pages on the thread. God bless
over one yr now we hv keep hearing " letters are coming". the possibility as one
Anyone using his number6 shud knw dat letters are not coming anytime soon. Can't u see the situation Απϑ condition of D̶̲̥̅̊is country? Subsidy removal palaver, crime Απϑ terrorism, religious matters, political crises Απϑ so Απϑ so forth. Απϑ u think d number one priority is NNPC recruitment? I dont think so bros/sis
Haba, in this hot peroid somebody is till making false statement. Ok o. Just pray that nnpc still remain as a body after all this problem.
I wonder who made some forumites/house members into judges as to the authenticity or otherwise of information posted on this thread. I have made known an information I received from a phone conversation with someone, whose identity I shall not reveal. I believe our duty as forumites is to inform the house of any vital information regarding the process at any point in time. As we are aware, it is difficult at this point for anyone to confirm any dates with regards to the process, but this should not deter anyone with useful information from making it known. I stand to refute the argument that the present socio-economic ills of the country shall be a deterrent to the NNPC recruitment process, rather by the President's speech yesternite, this is the right time to see the process to a logical conclusion.
Remain blessed.
