God, today is friday. is they any hope? my f5 key on my keyboard is almost dead. house any new info?
There is something very important to share. And that is hope for every NNPC hopeful. With what mrs minister said yesterday - signing of the PIB bill in 1st quarter next yr. this is a big hope. we can also recall FG calling for the need for employment of the teeming graduates- another hope. This info can quench anxiety since they all point at more number to be employed. However, not evry member will make it. Taken a good observation of d manner we hopefuls react, it becomes imperative to bring all hopefuls to this page so that we can withstand any outcome & forge ahead. There will be much more opportunity if the PIB turns to a reality. So, be encouraged of an improved future and a new Nigeria. Most importantly, if we continue praying for our leaders, this dream of greatness shall not pass us by the side. The government idea of fuel subsidy removal would hv been an excellent deal if not for the shabby state of our refineries. Again, experts hv continue to compare nigeria with some other countries lopsidedly of the simple reason that with Deregulation, our economy will bans back. Of course, deregulation is one key economic instrument for our type of economic state, if the government set some level of standard. Our telephone calls, data and other related charges would hv been lower if NITEL is hand-in-hand with the private side.So it will be, if private refineries competes favorably with Nigeria owned refineries. This waiting of NNPC today would not hv generated to this. Many opportunity would hv been such that by the time NNPC will be ready, some Hopefuls would hv gotten to places higher than NNPC. This is the dream we all wish our graduates and others.
Na wa o! Dis wait 4 our letas is killin me.......any seconders? I'm believin God sha.........sooner than later we will get them.........can I hear an "AMEN"
"JA is spot on, leave the young man alone. His info is accurate & if there is any change, you cant blame him." Mr., why must he be left alone? See, don't even try to advocate for anybody. It's a fact that things might change, as it had always being from the start of this thread which had also being proliferated with the very common phrase - 'reliable source(s)' - which, of course, is now no more common place, and considering how government operate in this country. When they tell you a date, the probability of them NOT meeting it up is most times more than 85%. So, Mr., tell him to STOP talking with absolute certainty, as though he attended the meeting with the GMD and the Pet. Minister.
My guy davo. i feel you. Honestly im not advocating for JA but his info is accurate, even our president is not sure of anything, fuel susidy removal by january, no april ,no february, no january,no not yet, surely january, no i will meet with stakeholders like NLC first, no its surely next year but not sure when. you get my drift. Thats why i say you cant blame JA. Even my interview date changed thrice, was it not concluded before it kept changing? like you said my bro. This is NAIJA.
hmnnnnmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnm
Today is gone, its only 5 workdays ( working days) till christmas and 8 workdays till the new year. keep praying, NAIJA OR NO NAIJA, some people from this forum will surely make it, that is a mathematical certainty.
This NNPC thing is causing a lot of worries and fear. I
This NNPC thing is causing a lot of fears n worries. I think we all have to forget about it till january. Noone knew that they would send the interview letter the day they sent it. We just have to relax and leave everything for God, who knows us and knew where we would reach even before we were born.
Confirmed that another NNPC advert is coming out 2012!!!.........so immediately the few ones that scale through this one are contacted, many will again be recruited after passage of PIB by April 2012....no cause for alarm, its just for many pple that will face depression after this list was released to be hopeful for 2012
Goodluck...
I A̶̲̥̅♏ so short of words....Its just sad that absolutely no one has any information or update on this recruitment. Well a friend of mine confirmed that some few fellow resumed training in NNPC weeks ago. The location she doesn't know n d batch also but she said certainly not for the Nov.2010 Applicants. At this junction I think we should cast all our care on Baba God cos dis wahala don too much!
All is well!
Gudwil, its not in my character to insult pple, but can u imagine how D̶̲̥̅̊is animal was talking. Just for responding to his post dat two pple got dia offer letters Απϑ are about to start. I know its not a good idea to answer him with an insult, d best thing wud have been to jus kip quiet cos silence is d best answer to a fool, but i later thot it will be good to attach the yeye insane gorilla, so dat he will not try it again on any forumite
No disrespectable Sakabu the 2010 hopeful are still hoping and u bring news of another recruitment with exclamation marks?? To make matters worse, instead u dampen the already frailing moral.
Remember u were the chief protagonist who said letters will be released in Dec and what not. I reserve my comments till Jan. Remain blessed.
not by might shall anyone prevail. i have called for corporate prayers but we didn't take it seriously. we are waiting for people to tell us that we will resume on a sunday(even though there is no work on sundays) and then we start praising such people instead of turning to God.
@ihope: Goodluck in your endevours, your life shall be blessed...I dont join issues with pple..Goodluck once again...wait for January and say all you want to say...pls
C me c my leta in ma hand.
Mchwwwwww...
I was just dreaming
these wings of glory will definitely bring forth a new thing.
if governmental parastatals recruitment has always been immersed with corruption, this one will be perfect.
the letters i hear, are yet to be out. there must definitely be a reason why?
like i said, a security detail informed me and i verily believe him, that he overheard the GMD tell the Hon minister that the GTs would be contacyed b4 xmas.
traditionally, the week to xmas, the office is scanty, especially of authorizing officers.so, im worried.ill keep my ears to the ground and get back asap.
sakabu was right when he said another recruitment is being planned for 2012.NNPC recruits every 2 years, as a culture.
this recruitment was suppose to be an off shoot of the PIB, now that its been planned for april 2012, maybe next years recreuiment would be big to cover the areas particularly EH s that were dropped. all hope should be gathered.Jesus is Lord.
the NNPC carries out regular trainig for its staff at mosimi in lagos. there are persons there now on training.they are also trainig their contract staff.NNPC contractors also train their staffs.but regarding the Nov 2010 recruitment, none has been called up. the GTs are the first stage. the person may be a contract staff or contractor staff.you are bigger than that.you are a full staff
In my personal opinion, if the PIB was going to be a reality by 1st quarter 2012, then NNPC/FG should be prepared to swing into action with work force. this current NNPC recruitment stand an opportunity to get ppl awaiting action. Proactively, Trainees of kinds should hv been on training by now. Well, everything works to the glory of God. So who am I? ordinary human-mortal. glory to god almighty.
that would be precise. because the information i got is that they would still interview them again to determine their entry level, using various parameters.
so i think a march 2012 date for induction is ok. the avarage time given for disengaement is normally a month, so the time range is ok.
@JA; come to think of it. We did fill an e-payment form. That points to a possible refund of TP or any sort. If any info like disbursement of offer letter will be concrete, wouldn't it start from the TP? I hv not 4gotten tht d letters are more important. only being logical and sequential. Hv it being a time any refund was made, letters b/4 any payment? All na question I ask ooooooooo
the foundation skill trainig program of the NNPC, is akin to the SITP program in the SPDC...where the present GGM HR came from.
it is mainly for engineers and technicians. they go through an academic program of about 9 months.
thereafter, they go through a mentorship for another year. based on recommendations, they are managed.
those who do not do well, are sent to other depts like HR.the FSTP is the building block of the future of NNPC.its a pride. a cartel.
other professionals would be given an induction, and they are off to work.
@JA; I beg u not to distracted in any form with some of our comments here. To me, ur sacrifice to continue feeding this thread with info irrespective of ur direct involvement is a big honor. The world is a small place. one day God can bring us together. Complement of the season. And may God encourage all faithfuls.
Jesus Army, I am beginning to suspect that you work in NNPC. YOU SEEM 2 KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. THANKS GIDI GAN 4 UR TIMELY INFO SHA
@JA: objectively speaking u misinformed the house when u said ltrs will be released last wk,cos according to ur statement that wasn't the info u got. Or maybe u r misinforming the house now to give urself some lag time. Just an observation.
However, I'm from the south eastern part of the country and my contact (he doesn't work in hr ) told me that the cut-off for my state is 75% and checked my combined score yday and said I exceeded that comfortably, however he didn't get access to the final list and urged me to keep my fingers crossed cos I quote "this is Nigeria now u know".
I am not looking forward to any date, its tiring, just waiting to be pleasantly surprised whenever it happens. God knows best.
@JA your contribution 2 dis forum has bin selfless n very encouraging. its so amazing dat ppl like u still exist in a society were everybody is only interested in wat he/she will benefit. pls keep up d good work n i blive God will surely reward u in bountiful fold.
Not everybody is privy to NNPC management's decisions. But selected few have the privilege of getting information. I have my own information but I just can not post something I cannot substantiate. You heard something from other people who probably heard from some other people, and do not know wether it is correct or not - a hear-say, yet you talk with all certainty. I think that is, to say the least, unfair, my brother. You can't be too sure that your supposed source had been correct hitherto. Next time you pass out information that you hear from somebody, don't say it in your own words. Instead, quote the person and state clearly that your are not sure. At least that will help exonerate you from all blame and critisim. But anyways, 'bad as e bad, you dey try sha'. 'After all, kanda na meat.' 'No mind all those people wey dey sing your praises oh! E no be from their mind.'
Does it mean that their previous level of experience was not observed during the interview or not taken into consideration when they were shortlisted for employment? How come they want to interview again to determine theri entry level when this suppose to have formed part of the interview.
I agree with your point of view. I don't see the need for another round of interview.
EHs were given a form where we filled in details about our years of experience, who we report to, how many persons we currently supervise, total remuneration, qualifications, notice period required before resumption e.t.c. I feel this information is adequate to determine the level to place any EH. I don't see any need for additional interview. Anyway this is just my personal opinion and I may be wrong.
