I was part of the recently concluded NNPC Experienced Hire interview.
I, like so many people want to know when the successful candidates will be contacted.
It is really affecting me emotionally. I just want to know how long we will have to wait before the results are released.

I doubt this ur claim, during the interview I told a staff of nnpc that my interview invitation was sent to UK,that I wanted to make sure that the appointment letter was not sent to a wrong address. He said that everybody will come to the tower to sign for his own letter, I don't think any letter will be sent without an email. cross check your facts.Quote:

FINALLY Print out of appoinment letters completed.... Awaiting the Signatory of the GM GHR. The Succesful list was Endorsed by the GED CS and moved to the office of the GGM GHR who has approved the printing and signing of appoinment letters by the General Manager Group Human Resources.....Emotitons getting higherrrrrrr, GOD HELP US!

Pls let us try as much as possible to reduce the anxiety generated by all these info of NNPC. My phone just ringed,on looking on the screen I saw a number 547 only. One of my mind told me perhaps is 4m NNPC.the other remined me of a rumour of a killer number. I was left in between. But i finally did not pick the call. Pls let us try and hand every outcome into God's hand and prepare our mind 4 any side of the die. We shall succeed by the grace of God
But Retired Corper' s position seems to be close to that of the naira guy. If you are sure that the printing and signing of letters have been approved by GM HR , It's possible , it has been signed and despatched. And that means the naira guy knows what he is talking about. I m waiting sha.

@silaV Thank you very much for your obhjectivity and creative mind. I can see that you have the mind of Christ. You 3. suggestions are very correct except for the cheap popularity. I don't need it, nobody knows who I am on NL.
I may have misled the house which I think is correct now, but I was right before. The information reaching me now is far worse than the one I gave you guys before if it is going to be true.
I learnt that because of the mass failure during the test, they are considering re conducting the test all over again. The management were concerned about why should 1st class and 2-1 students would have failed woefully. I think they realised some loop hole in the arrangement of the test. Because most of the people that took the test have graduated long time ago it will be difficult to remember secondary school questions.
So, there is hope for thos who lost in the test, if this nes idea is carried out. Because the Management want nothing but they brilliant ones, this was deeply emphasised in their last meeting. If this is to be carried out then dispatching of letters to the courier services may have been halted.
House lets wait for the response from NNPC.

nnpceeeeeeeee! @Jesus Army. If this recruitment's not concluded dis year, just be sure dat it'l be cancelled cos it'l be a yr old by dec'11. Who is talking about conducting another exam!. It can't happen.
Why?
1. The money and time involved in starting the process all over again
2. The money and time already spent and been spent on this current process.
3. Will they call back all the big guns -GMs to come sit for another round of interviews!
4. There is a time frame for stuffs like this to be completed.
5. If they cancel it , their image,reputation and rating will crash.
6. Was it the fault of the 2.2 and 3rd class people that they did better than the 2.1s and first class? (mind you, I made a 2.1 myself)
7. What is the guarantee that if they do it again, the 2.1(s) and 1st class will pass this time around?

Wuz up, i guess you now understand why i always put "not sure" in my comments on this thread. Really, nowadays i come to this thread so that i can laugh rather than for concrete information (ratio 70/30; 70 for laughter, 30 for information) because there are just to many conflicting information here, however some may turn out to be true. Even the trusted sources on this forum are sounding unsure of real information.
God is on the throne. I pray He brings all our expectations to pass.

One thing i know is that this recruitment will never be cancel neither any other test will be conducted. God that has revealed this to some of us cannot lie. So i urge each of us to hold NNPC up in prayers so that the plans of the enemy shall never come to pass. Also about medicals, please we are going to recieve our appointment letter b4 medicals. The medicals is not for elimination but just a formality in the process. U cannot go for medicals if u are not successful in d interview and picked for d job.

i have been following this post and every nnpc post i can possibly find online..lol The comments have made an interesting read if not anything else and have kept me entertained.
@Kay05, i read the post also at the "naira" site.. The questions that came out in the aptitude tests were normal "GMAT/GRE" standard questions.. The same people would have to answer those kind of questions if they wanna go to graduate school in the US. the statement he made "The management were concerned about why should 1st class and 2-1 students would have failed" does not hold water because only 1st class and 2-1 students were allowed to write the tests in the first place (for GT at least).
Moreover, they were still able to call a large number for interview and can still pick the "best brains"+X (where x= Nigerian Nepotism factor..lol) from the lot in front of them.. We have done our best, what we need to do now is just fold our ams and wait (pray for those who are religious).. For me, NNPC is not the ULTIMATE, it is just a means to an end..
