Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Dear all hopefuls,
Our destiny continue to remain in our hands. At a point, we were tired of information from different quarters.
At another point we decided to chant democratic form of knowing what has become of the recruitment from the hands of the authorities.
We did all agree to carryout a zonal peaceful protest across by majority. The out come of which gave us a boost to deciding putting up
an open letter to Mr. president; hence the contribution to that effect. The change of management of NNPC and the rumor that letters are
being dispatched has to be followed by a corresponding change in our plans. To me, as far as letters have not be confirmed collected, our change
in plan should only affect the content of the initial publication write up(which is on its final touch). This will be aimed at informing the new management that Nigerians
and in particular the prospectives are following the development of events. Thank God that the head of the new management is aware of it.
(...but could be against it..). They rights and privileges of citizens across the world has continuously being violated by government. This is more in
developing countries of the world. I believe that success depends on what one did that others could not do. (..while holding God as supreme..).
Our going ahead to publish our agreed letter to Mr. president is the highest of all alternatives. Especially when the effects of having the Letters coming
and hitting the letter also to His excellency has little or no negative effects as compared to the pains and anguish of not. While we can't hold on those with
info on letter being dispatched, they in return can't hold our proposed action (PART ONE). ........THERE ARE OTHER PARTS TO FOLLOW AFTER THE OPEN LETT....
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Please house lets reason well with ethnan. There were many comfirmed sources that letters were dispatched, even a friend of mine who works nnpc mosimi called me that he heard that letas were dispatched at the last hours oniwon and co heard that ged was sendind them away. And this is what i ve been saying to protest when oniwon was there, now i don't know what the new nnpc management can do? When oniwon didn't pay us t-fares, how do u want yakubu (man of integrity) based on his profile and what people said about him. The out-gone gmd, engr. Oniwon caused all this problem for us, don't tell me that was yakubu not ged under oniwon but oniwon should ve ensured dat we were called and inducted.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
I would continue saying that the former GMD, Engr. Austin Oniwon put us into this mess, when we supposed to have been called since, so at the wake of going home he said we should be called , how are we sure the new management will commit itself to implement the process, when we talk of the recruitment , we talk of funds/money, why out-gone no complete the process and release our funds and THIS WAS WHAT I HAD BEEN SAYING B4 ONIWON WENT. PLS REASON WITH ETHNAN'S POST VERY WELL. Who knows what the new management intends to do? Anyway , we could not blame both the NNPC out-gone, in-coming management and the Pet. Minister bcos most of their people have entered thru back door, otherwise, the whole world would have known that NNPC recruited.
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
NNPC is NNPC either old or new board!!!
Guys ride on with ur initial plans! I repeat untill u see letter every other STORY is just STORY!!!!
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Please believe this or leave it. Couriers could not have held our letters till now since monday/tuesday within nigeria, haba. Most of them are very efficient come to dispatch.

Desperators.. No different between the kind of people found here and the Politicians.
NNPC no be do or die..o
Thank God everything will always happen for a reason.. Whether Good or Bad.
If you know you'll thank God if this recruitment is eventually cancel then you can continue staying in Naijahotjobs and be prepared to give him thanks always no matter circumstance.
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
I will advice you guys to continue with your actions and don't listen to any rumour until you get your letters. I think the new management will like play politics with the list cos that's a normal office politics.Pls that's what happened in 2008 recruitment when a new management came on board. Pls guys, continue with your actions.
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Pls note that my earlier info was not to stop d publication. Whoever attempts to do such is an enemy to the completion of this process. I rather believe that the publication 'theat' and not the sack. Pls until we get our letters even if the MPR says the letters are coming, that's the more reason we need ask why the delay. This is my take abt the publication and the news 'rumurs' abt dispatched letters. God bless us all

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@Ethan, the same goodnews has been circulating the information super-highway for months with no concrete evidence of materializing. there are more pressing concerns they would prefer to attend to rather than beginning on a hitchy take off and grapling with the added complexities to be produced by new entrants. recruitment can never be the top most agenda of a new board at inception, and the out-gone board will not be so foolish to approve the list at the wee hours to their exit. lets be logical in analysis.

Yes I agree with your other argument but not with the point that the outgoing board will be so foolish to approve the list at their wee hours. Its usualy the case in Nigeria. A governor would sign all cheques, approve all possible contracts, almost empty the treasury today,if he knows he is leaving tomorrow. Its typical with most of govt parastatals too, even some private entities. Its done to (1) make things harder for the incoming management,so that the out-gone will look better. (2) Serve their personal interest. But a smart incoming management will put a hold to all key approvals of past management that falls within few weeks to its assumption of office and peruse all very carefully. Speaking from experience. THE PUBLICATION SHOULD GO ON GUYS,BUT SHOULD PERHAPS CAPTURE THAT "WE BELIEVE THAT THE PRESENT GMD ANDREW YAKUBU WHO WAS PART OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS AND SEEMED QUITE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT IT ,WOULD CERTAINLY USE HIS GOOD OFFICE TO BRING THIS PROCESS TO ITS MERITORIOUS CONCLUSION. Shalom!
