A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

Whatever impression n meanin U adduce 2 it am sorry. @ Ali danladi, let me say I d truth dat some som powerful force both within n outside d nnpc are delaying d final selection. For ur info, if anyone tells u his/her is on d final list know dat's d biggest liar. Yes ranking of scores has been done, no doubts. Hav u asked y it's taking so long 2 invite d successful ones 4 medical+offer letter ? By now I know u know all is not well. But d good news is dat d minista is still holdin out, I fear 4 hw long cos is nt a saint. As much more dat I know I 'll pple know . Yes u hear me say dat our training is 4 2 yrs. Do u think am saying what others said. I'm giving u facts as they stand today. Let add dis: u see why d mgt are insisting they hav dia way especially with EH is as a result of dia overall assessment of entire EH candidates in terms of initiative. D goes with GT & OP.

Again d interview questions failed 2 show d link b/w technical competence n d individual discipline.

I knew frm d onset becos of previous experience( not nnpc of course) gave d hunch 2 d interview very serious. And I giv all d glory 2 God cos I saw scripture fulfillin b4 me on dat day. Let me giv out a little on hw my interview went: immediately I answered d 1st question posed b4 me d chairman said ' this is what I ve waiting for.' As I continue 2 provide answers 2 questions after questions, I saw all of dem so pleased 2 d extent when I was asked my last question(incidentally it concerns nnpc) d chairman answered 4 . Then wen it was time 4 me 2 ask dem question, I just decided 2 b smart ask by asking what "ll b my key responsibilities/duties when I resume n what qualities/attributes are neede 2 succeed in d corporation. D entire got d message, and d chairman now said dat I told dem more than what they re looking for. As I abou leaving, one of dem (who happen 2 b frm my state) then spoke my native language 2 congrats. I overheard dem saying dis is a raw talent needed wen I stepped out.

So u see if dis process is nt cancelled, I am so sure of resuming next in nnpc.

Unclesly, why have u been silent on these issues 4 so long while d thread had be filled with various versions of trends? 1 thing I have learnt 4rm dis thread is dat, someone must want 2 speak. Just imagine som1 talking about interview questions at dis stage just 2 prove a point. Anyway d process wil b completed. Then there wil b no more personal opinions posted. Till then continue posting. @angel4life u re absolutely right 2 ask why now. Let's say it's d right time cos I joined d forum nt quite long ago. Also, my interview was on Aug 16. Howeva, a friend hinted me about dis nnpc related issue on dis forum while d interview had jus commenced. And incidentally, d 1st day I flip thru it was zinwa dat was sharing her experience. Am gr8ful 2 her n others dat help me prepare really well. After d interview cos of excitement I busy buzzing with friends cos am naturally nt internet freak person. Infact dont normally go 2 cafe 2 browse ,unless when it necessary. So I never in my wildest imagination thought by now d process 'll still b hanging.

But anyhow pple d main reason am kind worried about dis process is d likelihood cancellation. I know U 'll quicly say tufiagba ! But see it dis way : nnpc put out d advert in Nov 2010, so if by d end of Nov 2011 d process isn't completed, those 'big shot @ d top' has legal grounds 2 call 4 cancellation. NNPC (madam minista n pcl) should pls hasten up n call 4 d all important board meeting n d decision on hw many per state(state quota). Dat's d koko holdin everythin. Meanwhile d political power know exactly what dey re doin by probin nnpc @ dis crucial time, and other issues distractin nnpc. So u c what I saw?

Pls J A I need ur help. Do u know when nnpc board wuld meet dis month?

U have posted more any1 2day. Don't panic. Like u said, hold on 2 ur job if u have one. If u don't continue d search. Don't b afraid u were d best candidate in d interview. Others are only hopefuls. U are supposed 2 know all. So help us with d latest info. Thanx.

please i am an EH hopeful ooo and i keep hearing that there are some pending issues on the EH selection and that they may be trying to review the process for EH.what is really going on o?what info have u people on the issue?will they also do it on quota basis?i need answers o.

You seem paranoid, unless you're trying to play catch up for all the months you couldn't make it to a cybercafe. You dont have to, we understand. LOL!

No. 1 the NNPC board must meet before the final approval for the number per state to be employed is given. No. 2. This process must be completed because NNPC needs more staff to handle their expansion agenda which was already approved by the board and has since started rolling but is limited by lack of adequate number of staff to realise their ambition. No.3.The president's transformation agenda has enumerated jobs for the youths as one of the key factors to realising the agenda. No. 4. The president during his campaign tours across the country has promised to open up NNPC for more employment and economic empowerment so as to enable NNPC to compete with other state's national oil corporations like petrobras, qatar gas etc. No.5. No doubt at the end of the day the big wigs on one hand shall have their way and the minister and us on the other hand too shall have our way, so, is going to be a win- win situation for all of us. But one thing is certain not all of us that attended the interview will be employed. Let's keep praying. I am sure by the end of this month every thing will be alright and we shall be invited to come forth for medicals and subsequent employment. Good night.

D ministry of petroleum did 3 intaviews dis yr. In may d pti conducted intaview 4 nd/hd holdas- workshop/lab technicians/technologists hopefuls are yet 2 b caled 4 medicals. In may was dpr intaview -statuscope dsame. Jun-aug nnpc hmm! Unto everything dere is a season. A NEW DAY WIL SURELY COME

For your information NNPC dosnt have a Board and the second thing is all Boards of MDAs have been dissolved. And for d guy begging JA, do u think JA owns nnpc or wat? R u sure u r one of us abi u applied for contract staff

As the waiting continuous brethren, be on the watch for other opportunities.
We are still hopeful, but Life will definitely go on with or without NNPC.
For those that are not working at all or that may have interest ,
watch out for other federal govt jobs especially in the 'Force' police, SSS and Army.
The younger ones may give them a shoot and still wait for other planned job of theirs.

Accepted that it may have lost some of †ђξ essence & relevance for which it was setup for in †ђξ 1st place but we all know that it is due to †ђξ dormant state of †ђξ process in question & you do know that a lot of people do check this thread for any new information even if there isn't. ℓ̊ think we should leave it up until †ђξ end of †ђξ process so when †ђξ celebrations starts, all that have been going along on this trip will be witnesses & celebrants on this same thread. My 2cents!

ℓ̊ heard CBN would be recruiting soon & ℓ̊ wanna ask if it is †ђξ same vacancies that ℓ̊ read in your post that are being filled internally & just wanna advertise for show abi there really going to be a fair recruitment exercise?
