Is it possible for those who were not called to get the retail appointment? If NNPC might have reccommended some candidates directly? Just thinkin aloud.

I heard to go & verify about what i was told yestarday. What i found out was shocking. The guy that i reported to have gotten his letter said he was invited by NNPC RETAIL for an aptitude test that was carried out on December 10th 2012 & did his interview two days latter December 12th 2012. He has his appointment letter as i type. Infact it was scanned & sent to his mail while it was still in their office so he can get to see it before he receives the hard copy

It's 100% true. Some that did the interview were part of 2010 NNPC recruitment and that category (which I belong) did not write the aptitude test. They were only invited for the interview. A day before my interview was scheduled to take place I visited NNPC retail office to iron out some issues before my interview the next day and to my surprise I was stopped at the gate and was told i could not enter as there were people writing test inside. I waited until after the test and was allowed in. We did interview with these same guys the next day and they confirmed they were never part of the original 2010 NNPC recruitment. I discovered all of them had some top shots backing their candidacy. I figured out that the main reason we were called at all was to give the exercise some measure of credibility but the main target was these guys. From that day I started praying hard because we could end up being thrown out after the purpose of inviting us must have been served. I am just hoping that I am among the favoured even without any oga because my immortal OGA is at the very very top.Quote:

why una dey worry una selves. Newborn has codedly told us his status and some people neva still wan code. Must he open all his mouth and say it before you code. He even tried for saying this much, if na sumone else he wont say a thing.
For aircraft, Business Class dey enter before economy. Na this (Business)class don get letter now, economy will have to queue (sorting, DHLing, tracking bla bla bla) due to the number of people and collect theirs later. It is not how far but how well......

I thank Almighty for giving me this job without depending on any Oga but my everlasting OGA. I had my letter scanned and sent by a classmate who works for NNPC. All those who attended the interview relax and wait for it to land. It will surely come. I was just lucky that this guy was able to intercept my letter before it could be sent to the courier for delivery to my contact address.

resumption is as newborn stated.....acceptance by 17th and resumption on 20th. If you're lucky to get the offer trust me your colleagues at nnpc would be jealous of you. Our package is way much much better than that of nnpc....i will not give the figure but to put it in perspective my uncle who put in six years at nnpc said my package is better than his present package despite his experience and i am a fresher.
