My fellow hopefull,i have said before that what is actually delaying the release of list is petroleum industry bill, not budget as pupolar believe, but thank God i heard it is ready for representation to NASS very soon before their resume frm their Easter recess.bcos it is budget that is holding 2008 recruitment process or that DPR that have lasted over two yrs now.anyway wht old man see while siting down, a small boy can not see it while standing, but not insulting anybody pls,or kliming senior nor superior, but u must be spiritually enclined to see or to understand what am saying.Nevetheless this is our month of favour bcos of the season we are in now .
vin 20 d vin20!
@vino20 u dun carry ur pib again...@seunlove "All half-baked graduates are strongly encouraged to criticize this post." Dude i shake my head 4 u...u seem 2 be in support of lobbying, nepotism obviously cos u've benefited 4rm it in no small measure..from ur post i can imply u r a lecturer&becos of lecturers like u i weep 4 d future of Nigeria.

@Seunlove, ur write up was a good one but the 2nd to the last line defeated the essence of the whole write up. The fact that someone has a divergent view doesn't make him/her half-baked. Ironically, it is people like you who are actually half-baked; people who feel their opinion is the most correct. You dont excel that way neither do u learn that way. I know u're lecturing in one of the Nigerian university, i wonder what becomes of undergraduates u'd mentor.
If you have been opportuned to have some exposure to education outside the country, u wld know that lecturers are the most humble set of people, people who are willing to make their opinion heard and also willing to learn from others. Food for tot bruv.

@seunlove I shake my head in disbelieve, if a lecturer in one of our universities is a beneficiary & advocate of "lobbying" then what becomes of his students? Then sorting, lobbying for marks,egunje.......will reign supreme.
I go through it all over again.
With great belief, I shake my head n stamp my feet. It might or might not come from the corporation but the information the NNPC, Nigeria page has always carried are proven to be correct.
Given dat its last update is explicit and straight to d point, ie a time frame's given for appointment letters n no none for t-fare reimbursemnt, i've come to realize dat's more reliable dan any of all our 'sources' from d towers.
As a result, I chose to believe it untill time, and not any of us, proves it wrong.
From next week to d end of dis month we shall see.
^^@kafox, I am with you on this and moreso because I am believing God for quick conclusion of the "waiting".
If you read that NNPC,Nigeria page you will see that "the announcer" don't even have time to respond to questions or criticisms(atleast at the last time I checked).
Let's wait and see,as we also pray.
May God favour as many as put their trust in Him.
Happy Easter celebrations and ponder about the love of Jesus.
