Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
CBN's recruitment was advertised, jus like any other recruitment in D̶̲̥̅̊is country, they also had their shortcomings. My younger bro's frnd got an offer letter in FIRS prior to his NYSC POP ( he got d letter in june and did his POP in july), what can u say about it? His uncle was a tight frnd of the then Minister of Finance. And for those begging to be recruited in CBN without applying, doin the test Απϑ interview; are u not also part of the corrupt process?is it fair to be recruited without goin thru the legal recruitment process?

I weep for a good number of us graduates,if sm1 can spend over 4yrs in pursuit of a tertiary education and can't interpret a simple comparative statement....its over .how then do we believe ethnic violence will stop when the "learned" amongst us can't comprehend simple english...anyways I hope we won't eventually bring down the towers with bad grammar
I think all .contributions should be followed by : name of university attended....just thinking out loud

It beats my imagination when full blown graduates rancor over nothing from their lack of understanding. I wonder why people like Retired corper or serving corper or whatever it is he calls himself display their ignorance in such a market place like NHJ. If only you read in between lines and digested JA’s post, you would have understood the crux of the matter. JA meant not harm man! He cited an example out of a thousand others that we all know. Chief, you owe JA an apology and this house as well.
@Sakabu or whatever your name is, just leave these hopefuls alone and face your territory (DPR). If you are as connected as you claim, why then are you still a hopeful???? The connected ones are not even on this forum. They don’t hustle for jobs rather jobs hustle for them. Guy, just believe that everything in life comes from God and no one else. Some of us are better connected than you but still believe that men can fail. Learn to put your trust in God and also humble yourself. This is one of the bitter pills bro.
House, this time calls for prayers while we patiently wait on the Lordfor our letters.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Stop the use of this word 'tribalism' because it is not an english word- this is especially for those that always pick faults in other peoples comments. Check your lexicon very well if you doubt me pls. I hope this thread will bring about the much needed social revolution in Nigeria. Continue the discussion so that we can identify our common enemy pls.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
all of una get problem. His talk abt Sanusi isnt one bit tribalistic...that is d most recent 'recruitment brouhaha' where sb did favoritism to a fault! So rest it. He probably dnt knw d ones who 'REALLY CALL THE SHOTS AT THE OTHER ORGANISATIONS'.
Guys, rest it.
JA thanks for the info...an example is an example, we shdnt put tribalism into it!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@prof salvage, if you are trying to be humorous, that can be understood. but if you are serious about your choice of words here, then your case is a pathetic one. ability to speak and write good grammar does not necessarily translate to brilliance, creativity or genius in other sectors of human endeavor such as engineering and technology. the Russians did not use english language in their space programme. The germans use their native language to design and manufacure their cars. so also the japanese. if you start to analyse all the words you used, you would be surprised that most of them were originally greek/latin or french. india resorted to the use of vanacular in her education system, and in no time she got into the ten most industrialised nation in the world! lagos, which claims to be the centre of excellence, proposed to adopt yoruba as a language of business in her house of assembly. i attended a class that had russians, greeks, polish, chinese etc these people were struggling with both oral and written english at class, yet the few native speakers of the queen's english never made jest of any of them. the tutors too, most of whom were english, tried to support them, and not "condemn" them. an english family i had met didn't hide their sympathy towards me at the fact that i, and most other africans, is abandoning my native language. therefore, you cannot impress or intimidate (as the case may be) anybody here. you are making a laughing stock of yourself! "the cook who pounds noisily thinks that the one who pounds quietly does not it."

retired corper, you lied in this statement. CBN never advertised. please on which newspaper and which website was it advertised? like i had mentioned earlier my sister served with them and was following up closely with them to know when they will recruit. it was a stroke of luck that took her to the office a day to the test and was informed by her contact of the test. There was no such thing as advertisement for CBN recruitment. i really dont want to go on and on but people should check their facts before posting. you can bank on my statement that there was no advert. which jobsite posted it? which of their websites did they post it? which newspaper advertised it? trust NHJ to have opened a thread for it if it was advertised. or was it advertised on a day we all went to sleep?

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
please someone should tell SAKABU abi wetin demdey call him that he should stay away from this thread. he just came from no where and wants to scatter what took us how many months to build. is he trying to hijack this thread? i wonder how DPR hopefuls read and understand his contributions. i cant make anything out of his posts. his type is the problem of nigeria. people who feel that it is connection that will take you there. like someone had earlier mentioned, if you really have the connection you wont be here with us. abi you no know say dem dey roll out employment letters specially for highly connected people. maybe na the gateman you sabi. we here know God and his promises so we dont need all those connections to get to our prepared place.
