@JA I respect u so much for all your contribution in this forum, but for your last post, it sounds tribalistic. I never expect to read such a comment from you. Please be guided as a respected member of the house.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Will you all shut the hell up? And yes, I am taking offence as to how a cursory example should be blown out of proportion with unpatriotism, religious, ethnic and tribal bias all inferred in one sentence. So what if he said Goodluck and his hat-wearing cronies and village men clogging up Aso Rock would it have been any different? Dont try to wrest respect from us, if you give it to yourselves first be sure we will give it to you too. And FYI its only those whose minds and thinking function as such would go to the extents your minds went to. You really are the protagonists in the scenarios you painted!!

That it is in need of staff is undoubted. That the number is pegged at 350 is unfounded, because GTs alone with the 10 per state intake, would amount to 360.operators would amount to another 360. Experienced hires in various fields will amount to nothing less than 300. That there is an unofficial recruitment is balderdash, recruitment in the NNPC is centralized in the office of the GGM human resources. So what is the problem? PCL went into the process without following traditions and consulting ogas. They are now doing what they ought to have done at first. The minister gave in after a series of battles. What do we do? Pray, that the innocent will stand, and that God will defend His own. That the process would be truncated is untrue, all efforts are geared towards ensuring its completion, even the training locations. So rather than what we are doing now, I think we need to pray for Nigeria. Society cannot thrive on injustice. With or without the NNPC, I see God take us to the next level. His promises are sure and you can take it to the bank
JA, i am usually surprise when you say the Big boys in NNPC were not invoved in the interview process . i am an experienced hire and the 4 men that interviwed said they were from finance and account dept (FAD) (NNPC) because i applied for finance officer

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Before this gets out of hand, lets all decide to post something only when we get alerts for payment or email or call for our letters. So much info has flown in this house; as intelligent as we all are, we can deduce that things are not certain in this recruitment as decisions are made and upturned everyday. No need for more fretting because they are baseless and helping nobody. Let NNPC issue rest until there we genuinely hear from NNPc as a body. No more deliberation, its not helping anybody. Thank you all and try and to get back to your lives.

I absolutely agree with you DECAPLON.
I honestly want to suggest that JA be left alone and let's solve the problem from it's roots. Our problems as a nation are systemic, and this is the way most of us are brought up- hating the other religion, tribe, the people from other state and region etc. Let's open another thread called 'UNITY THREAD' may be we can learn from each other and use it to change Nigeria. One love.

Muha your fanaticism has never been in doubt, you are a paradigm of showfeelism , your extremist scruples leaves much to be desired. Expunge from your sub-conscious the deep seated drive which transpose your capacity for clarity of thought process. as a tribal extremist and religious showfeelist you are threading on the mines of a time bomb consequently making your existence precarious. you have excelled in belligerency, and your bellicose nature is a disaster and a liability on your balance sheet. What Jesus army posted needs not brew any imbroglio nor inspire pandemonium. have you forgotten your basics ? re-gij your memory, if you are not suffering from mental menopause you will recollect that there is the science of induction and deduction or more pungently and succinctly put it can be called the science of specifics and generics. i am a man , i have ears (specific) -(logic)- all men have ears (Generic) Sanusi lamido is corrupt (specific)- (logic)- all GMDs, inspector general of police, e.t.c are corrupt (Generic), CBN is corrupt (Specific) (logic) NNPC, DPR, MDAs are corrupt (Generic). Muha please look for a window to vent or ventilate your frustrations.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
dont loose sight of what we are all united for just because of a mere comment anybody would have made. Do you blame jesus army for using him as example? did you see any advert that CBN is recruiting? it was meant to be an inside job that was why it was not advertised and you can imagine if FCC didn't have an input what would have become of the list. it is only natural that sanusi will invite his brothers for opening he did not advertise.
my sister got wind of it through the people she worked with when she served there and was lucky to be among those employed but that does not make it right. FIRS advertised their own, NNPC advertised their own. why would CBN make it secretive and people are here taking it personal and crucifying jesus army for speaking the truth.
please if there is nothing else to discuss lets close this thread instead of crucifying someone that felt disenfranchised in a secretive recruitment process that should have been open.

If JA wasn't sentimental, he wud hav posted it D̶̲̥̅̊is way " The MDs of CBN,NDIC,NNPC,ECN etc went ahead and recruited members of dia village" D̶̲̥̅̊is wudnt have generated d chaos. But JA specifically made mention of Sanusi Lamido, D̶̲̥̅̊is shows dat its personal. JA knows dat he has made a mistake, its not too late to apologise either.

The last time JA posted something about the "arrival of Ladan's body for burial", many of you misconstrued his message and wanted to crucify him, how many of you guys apologised to him when you finally understood the message he wrote in simple English that you're requesting that he apologises for his latest comment which you guys have chosen to read meanings to based on your mentalities?

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
i do not believe that tribalism and religion divides nigerians.
the nigerian elite are united, when it comes to money.
tribalism and religious fanatism is actually a characteristic of the young, not too well educated poor.
while we fought on the streets, dancing naked on the basis of tribalism and religion, mko abiola and babangidas children were romancing.
nigerians ronu!!! what sanusi did is wrong, no matter where he comes from.
ndic recruited, we all saw it,nigerian army, even the much seceretive sss openly recruited........why justify an illegality on the basis of religion and tribe?
abeg, letsnot loose focus, and continue seeking the face of eledumare concerning our future

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@House, Pls relax before you crucify JA. He only spoke the truth. Why is that people become tribalistic and allow emotions and sentiments overwhelm their tot. That Sanusi did and he is still recruiting hausas into CBN is no rumour. My Dad retired from CBN and he spoke with two of his friends who are now directors to help his son into the system. They bluntly told him they have no such power to invite me for interview except i know a top mallam or northerner who has ties with sanusi; only then would i have a chance of being sent an invite for interview. Without that forget it. This is corruption at the high places so pls stop all this sentimental reaction just because you're from the north. Charles Soludo also did the same thing when he was the CBN governor. So forget all this noise you are making. Note i also did my youth service in one of the regional headquarters and i know what am talking about. My younger brother also just finished his youth service in one of the branches in the north. So pls let JA be. He is only speaking the truth just as it is. It is high time we start letting the public know what our highly placed civil servants are doing in public places whether they are from ur village or family house. STOP ALL THIS SENTIMENTAL TALKS AND TRIBALISTIC YARNS. PLS LETS CALL A SPADE A SPADE.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Did you write "u r shouting" and "wetin concern u"? I know your type of individual and wouldn't trade words with you. But before you accuse someone of not doing the dignifying thing by not apologising, ask yourself how many times you use the apologetic words too because I have only pointed out an occasion on which you were supposed to say sorry and you find it offensive!!
