I am just wondering, 'cos i could remember the number we were asked to call to confirm our names, i called the guy, i gave him my candidate number and he checked the list and he told me my name, my state of origin, and the position i applied from but said i was not taken. Could it be there were some names on that list as waiting list, just wondering!!!!. anyone with similar scenairo?

@all, I did not make the NNPC list but God in his magnanimity made me successful in the PTDF OSS (PhD). It would have been a tough decision for me had i got NNPC but God may have probably made the choice for me. Left to my mortal self, I would have gone for NNPC eventhough I applied for GT having only two years working experience. But this terraco's news is starting to stir up my old flame in NNPC.

I was @ the Towers 2day and got in touch with a friend that works @ the HR. I inquired about the 2nd batch (as a matter of fact this is not the first time I have asked her and she has constantly affirmed that there is no such thing as 2nd batch). She said what they are busy doing right now is shortlisting for the present recruitment.
I hope I won't loose friend by conveying this msg. It was all I got from the Towers anyway.
