Tho its quite painful not to be among d chosen ones, we should be try n be happy 4 dem n not be sore loosers. From d response of d GMD, it seems like der won't be any oda batch, except maybe d empty slots ® given out. To be truthful, I haven't rily been applying to any companies ever since I applied 4 d NNPC job but I think its time to revive my CV n start applying again. Pls can any one among those newly employed tell me if GTs of ICT(Computer Science) have also been called and ® among d 595 and the number of dem(if any).

We have come to the most interesting season in the history of this thread. The time to separate btw those with "chicken's faith" and those with "eagle's faith". the second list will come out but what if it comes out and some names are nt there, what will you say again? You will still continue with this ur wuruwuru mentality or say all sort of things again. When the 2nd list come out....please read what these guys that are propagating wuruwuru will say by then. But not every one will be in the 2nd list. Be aware. Best of favour.

Everybody agrees not all will b employd, but am sure if ppl who arn't selectd,as much as get a mail indicating dea score n state quota as reason y dey didnt make d masta list, it wuld b a baseline4 closure! Dont sympatize, put urself in pplz shoes! Frm testimonies, majority got in tru merit. That doesnt mean a few who eida didnt take d test or interview are not in2! @DEPACALON, there is another batch and it is going to be released soonest. But just like what u are saying, not everybody will be called. Only few will make that list. In fact, the number is far far lesser than that of the 1st batch. To me, if i am called fine and it is otherwise still fine. With or without nnpc, my life must be transformed this year by His grace. So, my fellow hopefuls, there is another batch. It is confirmed. Believe what terraco, bb1 and co are telling and u shall see the goodness of the Lord. But bear this in mind, very few pple will still make it so be prepared if u are not called and try to move on in life, that is what i am trying to do now. My assessment so far is that the recruitment exercise is fair. I cant say bcos i wasnt called and then condemned the good work. Never. Shallom.

Can anyone give an update on d no of gt IT that were inducted?
I am strongly seconding 4what's question. Pls I really wish to know if IT GTs were called, and if so, how many. In fact, the question extends to the medicals & admin. I stand to be corrected, but I am thinking this inducted set basically comprised of the Engineering guys.
Five job categories were advertised (Engineering, ICT, Science, Paramedicals & Administration) but it appears as if they have only called people from engineering (well, my observation so far). If that is the case, I think NNPC has not done well by taking us (the non-engr) through all of this long journey without any of us being called which I don't think they will (rather should) do; and honestly, this is part of the reasons I want to believe that there should be another set. This is my "scientific faith" although I still have the non-scientific or God-based faith in addition.Quote:

I will just tell you what one of my colleagues was told after the interview: His boss told him that for those they interviewed for EH position in IT, they(my colleagues) had better experience than them and if they are recruited they (my colleagues) will still have to train them and the new guys will be placed higher than them which is not fair.
