It's so sad that everybody wants dis job but everybody won't get it. I pray to be successful and wish every other guy out there success. However, it's not the end of the world though painful. I know how it feels losing a dream job cos I still feel the pains of crashing out of NLNG Operator job at the last stage(interview) last year. I beleive God has a fantastic plan 4 us all. All we need do is beleive in Him, worship Him, obey the teachings of the Holy Book and staying away from sins/evils as much as possible. He'll see us through. Ain't saying all these cos of NNPC job, it's d key to making it in life and hereafter. Remember, there's a judgement day when we will give account of "ALL" our deeds on earth.

But the truth is , I Told God that all is in His hands, i know some top retirees From NNPC and i know if i dig well enough i could even get someone that works there thats high enuf, or go source for some senator, but the truth i is dont want to belittle God, even though u guys might think i am kidding, but from the invitation for test to invitation for interview to Now.... it all has been illogical to me, i didnt even remember what i applied for exactly (i put up a thread for that then), i marked my script afta the test and i tot i failed only to be called for the interview, i missed 2 questions in the interview sef, though answered others well.
This is what i am trying to say, The only reason you wont get this Job if u leave it To God ALONE! is if it will kill you or make u a worse person and you know God will not allow that!
A quick story , a friend did some contract work with a subsidiary of UN for years and expected to be employed, long story short he was not employed, some months down the line his friends died in an explosion @ the UN house! but he was angry with God then, now he works in a govt parastatal,

During the interview I asked the people in my panel when the result of interview will be released and they told me before the end of the year. Since the year has not ended maybe we should remain calm and believe that soon we will be called upon to resume.

Likewise, by His grace d NNPC stuff started & will soon end. Thk God i'm alive.
animontee, i feel you . i clocked 11 years in banking industry on 4/09/2011. most of my friends have relocated. all my attempt at relocating did not yield any positive fruit. now i see an opportunity to leave the industry,it is being frustrated.
