All glory to God almighty! @kalokalo - u started dis thread and gave so many hope where they never expected, if nt for this thread I would av lost out of this opportunity cause of lack of information, its d info I got here that made me know letters were out and I had to go to UPS office myself to get mine. So for this reason, I tel u that he who began a good work in u, will b faithful to complete it.

I congratulate all the former hopefuls that are now employees. We wish you guys the best in your career with the corporation. As for the second batch, pls update us with whatever authentic information u get as from today. But personally, I want to believe that there will be a second list owing to the fact that almost all the guys in my group (GT ICT) that sat for the interview July 12 are all still waiting. Of all the fine guys I know that partook in the interview, only one chem engr OP lady got the employment. Something surely must be in the offing as regards this disparity btw no of those invited and the no that has been given letters. Meanwhile, as Oga Pepple (d NNPC publicity man) said in the Daily Trust, let us wait for the list to be made public before we draw conclusions. It is well with us all the hopefuls and the employed alike. Looking forward to a testimony-packed week. Stay positive!

6th of August! Give thanks with a grateful heart, for what God have done in the lives of our brethren. We expect more call ups soon. Keep hoping. It will come.

Is it d practice that GM tells u tha there wil be second batch? Keep hoping my guys, it wil come inshaaAllahu.

The new intakes do not need such information. For what? The GGM will tell them what is relevant to them. 2nd batch is not relevant to them.

I spoke with NNPC staff over the weekend and he told me, at present NNPC is under staffed (highly). Most of the 2006 intakes have even left.

2. over 70% of staff will be due for retirements , next year, 2014, 2015, recall NNPC was established in 79 and by 14, many would have put in 35 years. If you like enter with 19 years of age.
The first 2 years of NNPC witnessed and bulk of their staff.
