It is not easy.unemployment is a monster,and those that have killed it shuld always tank God.
With all indications, 2nd batch is becoming a reality, God counts us among.
God is still in the business of fulfilling his plans over each one of us. Expect a miracle all the time. God will do what he says he will do.
Goodevening fellowhopeful, i don,t know when the list of 2nd batch will be released or when pib will be passed, but what i know for sure is that the resumption of 2nd batch with the unbundle of nnpc will not be more than 3month interval from each order. Believe or not our greatest problem is non passage of pib.if u can remember pib was presented to president on 29th of june,and the fellowing week the 1st batch was released that clearly shows a correlation between the pib and the recruitment. I know as day goes by it will be more clearer to all of u, especially people that will get the job.
U might be correct afterall bcos one thing that is sure is that another batch will be released. PIB goes with this recruitment, and after PIB passage, more letters will be rolled-out. When PIB is passed, more funds will be made available for NNPC to cater for the remaining candidates, I guess that is what delaying the 2nd batch. 1st batch was released based on the little funds NNPC got from its 2012 budget as we all aware how finance Minister is holding the funds to an extent that NA wants her to explain why 2012 budget implementation is not yet satisfactory.

PIB may have influenced the number of candidates employed but pls Pib is not the reason why more letters havnt been release. They knew that NA were on break until Sept 18 & yet they had plans of releasing the letters b4 last week ended. So pls keep praying that u make it cos this will be the last batch
These are my permutation or assumption based on the known fact i wrote above
(1) there may release the list of 2nd batch in august, so that the coporation will clear there name by giving the number of candidate taken per state as against what daily trust wrote on 30th of this month, but resumption may be in oct/nov, most likely november in anticipation of passage of pib in the subsequent months.
(2) there may hold the list till towards there resumption on 17th of sept, then it will be released, hoping of speedy passage of bill
(3) there may hold it till after 1st and 2nd reading has taken place, and probably even after public hearing then it will be released
(4) i will say the 4th permutation later after letters are out
finally i hope and pray for the 1st assumption happening bcos presure on them or petition against what daily trust published on there newspaper,secondly bcos of the inauguration of new board that have been made public since about three weeks ago, which might be inaugurated this august
Terraco look why there said that 2nd list will come in three weeks time was that executive were hoping that as soon as bill comes that national assembly member will atleast do 1st and 2nd reading b4 proceeding on recess, so that b4 there come back there could have done public hearing and commitee stage,
infact if not bcos this bill, there could have released all the list toward but resumption will differ as in soon might resume in august and sept, moreover the coporation is very much understaff and lack of fund is out of the problem

@surj,i wrote my test in unilag n beside me i had a guy who studied buildg tech.
All, whose names where removed (by wuruwuru) from d original merit/quota list, will b 1st 2make 2nd batch, followd by state deficit, then a few more wuru-wuru! Total numba of 2nd batch is unknwn! Pib will not b passed in its entirety(power prankz),but it will b passed. Nnpc already has go ahead(budget approval) to employ pre-PIB passage. MOP.Quote:
