Those that were finally contacted by nnpc had better go to their respective churches or worship centres and testify to the goodness and glory of God. This will strengthen n lift up d faith of others that may be in similar positions. Those that did nt make it should still hope and wait on God. God will never forsake u. Thanx newcargo! I believe more in ur figure cos someone told us dat GT were 300+. He might b correct though, if he got his figure frm d mail-room, meaning they(mail room) got & dispatched 300+ mails 4 GTs last week with d rest yet 2 b sent frm HR 2 mail-room which could b done dis week. Pls what is d figure 4 Trainee Operator cos dis same guy told us 100 which appears small & unbelievable compared 2 d last successful recruitment(2006) dat had about 500 Operators. I feel dis one 2 should b around dat or more considering d fact dat there was no recruitment in 2008.
Waiting 2 hear 4m u(newcargo) or any other person with d right answer.

Some people r lucky sha! Opiantor_yangayanga is one. Dis guy is in UK doing LNG training and also got NNPC offer. I think he was with Schlumberger b4 LNG sef cos one of ma SLB friend knws him(guess he is d person he described). Bros, I wan b like u o!
Even if I don't make dis NNPC thingy, I'l shw up @ PTI or Shell training centre 2 map faces 2 the membas of dis thread cos I'm based in Warri @ d moment. Congrats guyz! All da best!

I hav evry rizin to beliv dat NNPC is not done with d dispatch of letas. First, I wana beliv dat ds thread's testimonies reflect a gud proportion of d entirety of dos contactd. Its obvious frm d various testimonies and comments of sm memebers who hav got access to d list dat so far, so gud, more GTs hav bn contacted compared to d numba of OPs. Sm comments hav it dat we hav abt 500 GTs and 100 OPs. Its not possible/done in Oil/Gas companies, moreso in NNPC whch nids more operators now dan oda senior cadres.Frm my thots, if we'r to hav 500GTs, we mustnt hav less dan 800 OPs. Ds means that, by and large, we'r supposed to hav more testimonies frm OPs dan GTs. Den, I shd infer dat more letas for OPs( purely Eng OND/HND) will roll out ds week. Av got sm oda personal rizins to beliv my analysis and inference. Sori to GT and non-engineering hopefuls for my OP bias. B4 now, I decided to care less abt ds recruitment but now av got a re-inforced assurance dat b4 or by friday, I'l b contacted..Stephen A, bigbroda, Paulizo, Fredajar, and oda OP hopefuls, no dulling, dem go call us.
There are 2 batches my brethren. What we saw last week was the first batch. The courier company were mandated to dispatch the letters of first batch b4 friday 6th. There is still another batch [the 11th hour miracle]. The dates for resumption & return of acceptance letter are different from that of the first batch. Just as the first batch had different kind of courses represented in it, so also the second batch have different courses represented. Pls relax. Dont kill urself b4 ur letter comes. Just keep praying that ur letter shouldnt be misplaced or lost in transit. I'w be signing out for a while. Pls enjoy ur new week. Cheers

Chevron hopeful too and maybe nnpc hopeful till this friday although i now know two people who live around my area that have received their letter and one person that attended the interview on the same day with me that also has her letter and all are OP same with me. Thanx guyz! I'm still optimistic dat more letters r coming especially 4 Operators & probably GTs. So many reasons 4 dat wit most already stated here. It's even normal 2 believe dat NNPC won't cal everyone at once considering d numbers 2 employ. U can imagine more than 1000 new faces storming d towers on a particular day 4 resumption of duty. U can't just quantify d stress it's gonna impose on HR guyz dat'll b doing d accreditation, verification & d rest. It's gonna b killing mhen! U can remember what those guyz went through during d interview stage despite d fact dat invitations were spread over a month. Besides, it's gonna b unsafe 4 d corporation considering d present security situation of d country. BH guyz might want 2 take advantage of d large no. 2 gain access 2 d towers 2 perpetrate bad deeds(God 4bid). Guyz, more letas r coming just dat d waiting is killing especially as we don't knw d exact time. I hope & pray 2 get mine sha!

Even going by quota system, we expect at least 15 per state 555\36. and don't 4get that some states would have more than others. The fact u ve been called does not mean u scored higher than another candidate in other state who is yet to be called, u were called based on ur state performance not national. I confirmed vividly from 2 sources from NNPC that the calls are in batches, be patient, in fact if u know ur performance, u can challenge it at HR to clear ur mind.Not all 555GTs had been called, more letas for SouthWest coming on the way and some few other states. Congratulations.
There are two things u should find out now b4 things go wrong. Did u make the list, Are u on coming list. The list might be pasted later or published in dailies after all successful candidates have been called. Congratulations once again.
@bb1 i pray it's true. because my state received only two letters from NNPC. one an OP and one a GT. that is to say that my state is still expecting 13 other letters from the cooperation.
So why are people killing themselves when all successful candis have not been called, the called ones are integral portion ot the total . NNPC embarking on TAM , 2 new refineries which FG and Ameriacn Firm had signed MoU . No cause for alarm. rest assured if u ve done well in ur test and interview.
