I guess the reason for having august 6th as d resumption date is so that all called can have one month to resumptn. This coming friday is the 6th of july and make exactly one month to resumption. Lets wait till friday before we giveup.
I got a call about an hour ago informing that I had some letters. I immediately directed that the content of the letters be examined. My heart was already while I waited for them to confirm the content of the letter to me. Lo and behold, I was informed that the letters were dividend warrants. I was completely disappointed to say the least.
Abeg NNPC, don't kill your potential staff by sending the letters in batches. We are already developing high BP. I wonder why a mail and/or sms cannot be sent informing all that were successful about their status and that they should be expecting the hard copy of their letters vide courier. At least that would have saved all of us from the mass hysteria that we are experiencing now.
Congrats to all who have received their employment letter from NNPC. I celebrate with you. God of miracle did this and not man, give all the glory to him alone

I learnt the selection was based on quota. One of my friend called to inform me that he didnt make the list from his state.

I said it on this forum sometime ago that it is based on merit. I am yet to meet anyone of my colleagues who joined that was not based on merit. those with fake results were sacked and they were many. Some will be sacked from this batch too. Don't worry if you haven't gotten your letter. If you are successful they will look for you. A friend in my set had gotten another job and so declined the offer without informing them, they sent a reminder twice before they were informed about the decision. Some people were also called to join us after some people declined. I think there is a waiting list and given how long it took to call you guys, i guess there will be alot of people who will not show up cos they have other offers already. Is there any Engineer that received his his/her letter? Three guys received their letter in Bauchi (two Geologist and one computer scientist). I had contact with about 7 Engineers in Bauchi and none of us is called. I think it is in batches.
