@joshfash n oluvkky. U guys just ripped off d words otta ma mouth.
Congrats House!!
U did it. Coupled with d subsidy probe reports, our issue has raised so much dust in d corporation. D entire management of d NNPC have been sacked. Maybe dats d reason for d sudden 'rush' to release d letters.
Once again congrats! U guys really rock!
The new board of management may not claim responsibility for the this recruitment exercise if the outgone management failed to conclude it.Whao, many thanks to the adage that says," A stitch in time saves nine". The publication may have little or no effect now.My prayers for the hopefuls is that their letters of appointments be approved and typed before this sudden change in management. We just hope that the new GMD(YAKUBU ANDREW) does the needful if the letters are not yet ready.
President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the re-composition of the executive management team of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
This was announced in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, who said the decision of the President was to further strengthen the ongoing reforms and transformation of Nigeria’s Petroleum sector, and in furtherance of efforts to achieve greater transparency and accountability in government.
The new management team now includes Engr. Andrew Yakubu as Group Managing Director, Mr. Bernard O.N. Otti as Group Executive Director (Finance and Accounts), Engr. Abiye Membere as Group Executive Director (Exploration and Production), Dr. Peter S. Nmadu as Group Executive Director (Corporate Services), Engr. Anthony Ogbuigwe as Group Executive Director (Refineries & Petrochemicals), Dr. Attahir B. Yusuf as Group Executive Director (Commercial & Investments) and Dr. David Ige as Group Executive Director (Gas & Power).
The incoming Group Managing Director, Engr. Andrew Yakubu graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1979 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He joined the NNPC in 1980. Positions he has held in the corporation include Managing Director of the Warri Refining and Petrochemicals Company and Group Executive Director (Exploration and Production). Engr. Yakubu is an indigene of Kaduna State and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
President Jonathan has also approved the appointment of Engr. Victor Briggs as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC).
The incumbent Group Managing Director, Engr. Austen Oniwon, and Mr. Michael Arokodare (outgoing Group Executive Director (Finance and Accounts), Mr. Philip Chukwu, outgoing Group Executive Director (Refineries & Petrochemicals), and Engr. Billy Agha, outgoing Group Executive Director (Engineering & Technology) are to proceed on retirement.
President Jonathan commended the outgoing directors for their service to the nation and urges the new management team to be fully committed to rapidly implementing the critical interventions needed to positively transform Nigeria’s petroleum industry.

End of the road.
Bye! Bye!! Bye!!!

Now d BIG question is
"y hav dey waited dis long b4 releasing d letters?"
--to trade our names with dose from d ppl dey hoped would help save deir jobs of course.
By d way who superheaded d just discovered 8.5million barrels of crude being smuggled out by d philipines n chinese?
--NNPC
u can never get any good news from dis evil corporation. I hope it gets better.
If d outgoing board approved for release of the letters, then it will be release bcos this will be captured in d minute of the board meeting.
The is, indeed, the beginning of the end.It is either the letters get dispatched within the next few days or ......hmmm
This, indeed, is the beginning of the end.It is either the letters get dispatched within the next few days or .......
Whao,NNPC website(www.nnpcgroup.com) is not opening as at present. "Server Error in '/' Application."
Pls let's publish so dt those taken over wil know dt we're very much alive and help us, not to start afresh wot they wil neva finish also
It was just a cabinet reshuffle. According to the president, it was a recomendation from the out going board. They were fully aware of this development. So pls lets relax. They did wat they needed to do about the letters. Cheers
Terraco u are right bcos all the 3 GED that was droped has about three month to retire from service, infact GMD was suppose to go since april last year but president extended his stay in office.
Forget it.
Ennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd
offfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff fffff
Roooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddddd
All i can say is that ''It is well"
"All things work together for good for those dat love God and are called according to his purpose", i think all is working for our good.
When a friend who is working with NNPC called and informed me about d release of d letters this evening I didn't believed him, but am very surprise when Elkasim and Depacalon coraborated the same thing. He said letter were processed yestaday and we may resume July. I don't wanna believe this but I want it to be true. Let's wait till end of this week and see if the info is right. I hope many if not all of us will make d list.
It is much better to register your dismay first. I feel some shots are nnpc are trying to reach out to us thru this forum to temper justice with mercy cos they are in deep trouble.
Be still and know that l am God, watch and behold the salvation of the lord for the EGYPTIANS you see today you shall see them no more. Jehovah has promised to overturn, overturn and overturn until he who's right it is he will give.
Jehovah has stepped in to do that which we cannot do, he has seen our faith exemplified by our works and he has taken OVER the battle. Remember my friend this is the only kind of faith that moves him.
He will stop at nothing until the HOPEFULS are rightly installed.
Jeffisme, The late ikemba once said because l am involved; Indeed because we are involved. One thing we will never do on this thread is to take the glory at the end of this, and l can assure you that all GLORY will be given to him who suspended the heavens above the earth without pillars.
We never negotiated for all of these, but how on earth will you explain this act of wickedness exhibited by the former board. My question remains WHY WILL AN ORGANISATION LIKE THE NNPC BE INVOLVED IN THIS WICKED ACT OF DENIAL? DENYING THE DESTINIES OF OVER 4000 NIGERIANS. THERE IS NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER, THIS SAME RECRUITMENT HAS BEEN GIVEN ALLOCATION FOR 2YRS RUNNING NOW. IF YOU BRING IN THE SUBSIDY PROBE WHAT HAS IT GOT TO DO WITH THE HOPEFULS, YOU CAN FACE YOUR PROBE WHILE PEOPLE ARE UNDERGOING THEIR TRAINING, PIB IS FAR FAR OLDER THAN NOV.2010 RECRUITMENT THERE IS NO CONNECTION, NNPC IS NOT BROKE; WHAT ELSE ?. FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT THERE WAS NO FORM OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE NNPC TO HOPEFULS FROM JULY 2011 TILL DATE HAS INDICTED THEM ALREADY ON ALL ALLEGATIONS.
As soon they assume office, they become enshrined to all the liabilities of the corporation. Budget has been passed and approved, signed into law; all that is needed is implementation. NNPC is Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. The registration papers of the corporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission has the The People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as its share holders.
For the mere fact that there is a new board, is now the major reason why the publication must be made.
We are going to pass a strong message, and it is simply the time has come for Nigeria to change, to embrace equity fair play and justice. A nation deserves the kind of leadership it gets.....
No way...
Let them tell us who they are...(If truly they are hopefuls then at this stage they should know that it is no retreat no surrender, unless they are not hopefuls)
How long will it take us to do the right thing. If some people were to be god, we will pay for the air we breath. If you don't cry foul when it is foul, nobody will believe you afterwards. This is the case with Hon. Faruk Lawan. We have decided and so shall it be. elkasim and depacalon cannot come out now and ask the house to excise restrain, where were they all these while?
Lordkay2010 once said on this thread(many months ago) that he got a call from an NNPC official that he had been employed......that guy should not be trusted at all! Lies with reckless abandon
The gambit here is this, the National Assembly ensured that for the Appropriation bill for 2012 to become law the NNPC should send their budget to the NASS. This was never done, the MPR usually defends the budget for the Ministry without that from the NNPC and DPR. How would Nigerians have know that Budget for the Ministry increased heavily as against that for 2011 on recurrent expenditure; and this according to the MPR is because of the recruitment of new intakes. How funny? Everything is playing out now.
It started from oloks, djapanese, elkasim, depacalon, kristion & now M.adam. How can all these guys be lieing at the same time. Pls lets give them some credit. Thanks guys. Keep the thread alife. One love
And it will end with ABCD123..
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE BY THE CORNER.
@Terraco, they can all be telling lies if they are part of the fifth columnists that I suspect has infilterated this thread.
I will remain skeptical of any information I get about the release of the letter on this thread. Our hopes have been dashed on occassions too numerous to recall.
Cheers,
Guy hw come u r so short sighted........gaddemm! Letters kor ..letters ni
Mumu.... Hospotals aboind!! Gaddemm!
Ur sight nt too far from ur nose...gaddemm! Wot anodat daed hopoeful!
Such a thought will help!!
Learn to burry a lie wen u c one ok!! Gaddemm nt resurecting dem!!
@Patorinni, I must confess that you are one of the major players in this forum ever-since I started following the updates, speculations and permutations here. For that, I can understand why you bluntly exercise restrain in accepting any rumour/update in this forum. However, I want you and other audacious members herein to be rest assured that this time around, you will not be disappointed. And again, I am just an ordinary hopeful just like all others that answers the name of this thread. On publication, I did not say we should discard it completely if we so wish; perhaps it will be of help in another area we did not envisage and probably, the title and the context might need to be re-adjusted.
But for the release of letters, be hopeful of a call/knock as from today INSHA ALLAH (God Willing), depending on the efficiency of the dispatch firm(s) involved.
Thank you all!
@4gkevin ...gaddemm! I see u r loose!
Good mornig fellows.
Pls dont be carried away with d new develoment in the change of management team in d NNPC.
D develoment is a usual and routine one. Some of the Old members are retained and others are elevated.....They are all insiders!!
Remember Billy Agha was d DPR director b4 he was seconded to NNPC as GED.
In d same DPR, Andrew Obaje was appointed and was relieved less than 3 monthe of his retirement due. Well Madam MPR replaced Abaje with her Shell coulegue cronies.....as an outsider coming to head the sector,She need her own loyalist.
My Views.
God please let us all smile and get your favour in this recruiment. Howerr, there is a news going round in d NNPC tread that letters are being rolled-out. What about DPR...any Update?
U wnt to carry over a publication dat was meant for anoda set into the affairs of anoda set?? Gaddemm!! Hw r u sure dat d first resting place of the GMD's pen is not on d column dat says: signed n approved for completion of d recruitment????... Gaddemm so so bunch of ignorant caggots!! ......go ahead ::: make dat publication n b sorry forever!! Mhhh!
