A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

speculations here and there.from today's posts i sense but one thing-optimism.that's a good thing. All i will advise is lthat with such optimism, let ur hopes also be in God.i have many contacts in NNPC myself but their words are not to be relied upon anymore and i have even stopped calling them, cos it feels as if they dont know the exact date these letters are rolling out.instead i look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.Jesus is one connection that can never fail u.letters come today, they come nextweek, i wait on Jesus, for He alone knows all.but there is one certainty i know, i am one of those who will receive their letters very soon and who knows what God has in stock for us all, christmas might jux come early for us all.cos it's coming earlier for me in Jesus name.amen

Guys, be relax. Be determine in what ever u are doing for now. show a level of control. It will definitely come.. Possibly look into other oppor'ty. Is well if it comes as xmas package

I am beginning to agree with retired copper that the waiting may go up to january. That it is no longer feasible to release the letters this month. Reasons: My source has reliably informed me today that NNPC had wanted to invite people for documentation since september but they are seriously cash strapped. But, all the processes have been completed. They are still working towards improving their finances with a view to offsetting the money being owed the federation account to the tune of 830 billion. And if you know how much each starter will collect as an upfront payment you will understand why.

Is it the same guy that told u letters will be released by the end of the month? I'm gradually losing faith, and av decided to focus my attention elsewhere, been stalling a another company for abt 2mths cos it involves signing a 2yr contract min. I think Mon will be my limit. All the best hopefuls. It is well.

The story sounds possible but it's sure baseless!
Come to think of it even if upfront money's d problem, do new intakes take part in it? It does really cost NNPC nothing to send out letters NOW inviting successful ones to come sometime next Feb or even Mar for documentation and resumption. The only cost incurred'l be courier expense here.
I really doubt dat dese letters'r ready. Madam minister might not be fully aware of the implications of the 1 yr life span of d NNPC Recruitment. It's already Nov-end. Can't believe dis's happening again. May God help us.

An insolvent NNPC can still recruit and pay staff very very comfortably.

Look, abt 35 percent of crude export proceeds goes to d multinationals(producers), abt 5 percent to NNPC and abt 60 percent to d fed govt thru NNPC still. Part of d govt's used for fuel subsidy by NNPC while remitting d remaining to d govt. Now d govt's saying dat NNPC overshot d subsidy portion and shld therefore pay back from her purse(d 5 percent). That's d whole story.

The 5 percent could be used to pay staff salaries and manage d Corporation very effectively.
So i think something else's d problem.
