....on dat publication i suggest we contribute to a pool of fund. In doing dis we need an account no(maybe bebriefs account no) for everyone to pay in especially dose dat couldnt make it today cos of work schedule. Now we don't need physical action but financial. Guys no excuse dis tym. We've to hit Thisday, The Punch, Vanguard and The Guardian. Atleast headlines to be captured on their front pages.
Just went thru' d Farouk Lawan's bribery scandal. It's really a pity dat dese Lawmakers are d ones we'r trying to report our case to. So selfish and wicked. Even more wicked dan the NNPC.
We need atleast N200k to finance dis. If only 400 guys can pay N500 into d pool account, we'l have N200k. I'm ready to contribute even for up to 20 oda guys. Look if dere's no financial inducement den our case might not b printed at all.

Good now we are moving forward, same thought I had about raising funds especially after all that happened today but good to know someone else is thinking alike. Standing on the recent suggestions, I would want to once again implore @bebrief and our amiable standard bearers to open an account preferably wit First Bank of Nigeria. I solemnly pledge my financial commitment to this cause and any other obligation that might be given me, towards this publication. The simple truth is that we cannot just hold on to a mere phone conversation between the zonal HR Head, and the GGM (who by the way is not a board member, and might not be privy to some info).. I was at the PH meeting point but didn't see anyone. I want to suggest we change the converging point for PH zone. Instead of going to PHRC, Eleme, why don't we take our protest to NNPC zonal office at Moscow road here in PH. DPR office is on the road as well. I think it will make more impact there, and more people might show up.

I think wat marred d abj protest was poor plannin n absence of leadership. I think a gd no of us probably came but dia was obviously no means of identifyin ourselves. I did come by 9:00 am. Checked first at unity bank front but couldnt spot anyone lookin like a hopeful. I tried goin 2d nnpc entrance gate, but was later referred back anyway. I had 2stand for some long yl at d con oil premises, where dey packed dia trailers. I left dia some mins to 12 noon. Unfortunately, i couldnt hv any online access as my fone was dead. At least i would hv known Kalokalo was dia if i had checked d site. I only remembered callin Vin20. He's d only hopeful i hv contact wt cos he once posted his no online. I called him at exactly 9:24 am but he said he was nt dia n dont kno wia dey'r gatherin. I wish i can still be around so we can re-strategize, but i'll be travellin out of abj early moro mornin. I would hv travelled on saturday but jst jst shelved it so i could be around. Well, dia's always a second chance.

Once again we have shown our beloved country that there is hope for her; that even though we are few, we will rise up for her damning the consequences, hoping for the best and conducting ourselves in the most civil of ways. @All, a new Blackberry NNPC/DPR group has been formed as a complement to the NNPC/DPR forum on NHJ. Bebrief or my humble self can add you to the group if you are interested. All you have to do is send a private mail containing your BB pin to either of us.
Many hopefuls are already joining the group. I believe this will serve as an alternative means of communication for those who have a blackberry device. The need to have a faster and cheap alternative means of communication apart from NHJ site was brought to the fore with the difficulties experienced in coordinating the protest on monday. We can reach a larger number of hopefuls without the added cost of making calls through a message to the group.

They would consider it stale, since it was published earlier (National Mirror 4th June 2012. It can only be used as advertorial. @All, we all know that it's a bit of wrong timing, given that the Ministry will hide under d fact that it lost top staff in the Dana tragedy recently and they are yet to buried. What is happening again on this NNPC/DPR recruitment issue, why some of people are talking of gathering money, on whom behalf the money would be paid? I don't understand this issue again. Many articles ve been published on dailies and sent to NNPC, so I disagree on collating any money for any publication.This is dempocacy, we can gather and go direct to NNPC HQ Abuja and get our solution. @ All the list is steadily increasing and a lot of generals are coming on board especially through the BB network. A strategy is being formulated as to how other people who want to contribute their funds but are averse to joining BB network will contribute their quota. When that is done BEBIREF will communicate on the THREAD to those who would be interested. For now we are taking the battle to NNPC/DPR through Spiritual and physical means. I see NNPC/DPR calling us soonest.

Its difficult to pool money under this anonymous usernames. I remember someone said its a monster. To some of us who met in the NNPC zonal office lagos/DPR have reasons to take a risk if you permit me to say. contacts were established and morals were rekindled. There is no way it can be compulsory. the history of democracy all over the world shows that Most or some of the frontiers do not benefit from it. Is a struggle you know, don;t expect that sacrificing some token is a guarantee. But having said all these, I will like us to instead of going for publication a such, we can write a letter to MR PRESIDENT. Any of which still needs money to effect. May be the president can call for MPR response to the letter.
