Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@Kaduna center, what is happening, there is no one in sight. this is disappionting, please you guys should respond to this clarion call, even if we are just ten in number we can still register our interest. @Bebrief what is happening at Lagos centre. lagos peeps please dont disappiont, you guys have the needed numerical strenght, if we allow NNPC go away without any explanation then you can be rest assured of another scam recruitment this year and subsequent years to come.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@kalokalo, print a copy of the press statement and submit at the towers. Why don't you have a placard with you? I'm coordinating Lagos Zone. Where is JA?
@thurllyboy, pls proceed to NNPC Zonal office, 22 Milverton street Ikoyi. Take a bike, enter through Glover road, opp. Golden Gate hotel, and drive straight down, you'll see a roundabout, the right is Milverton street, No. 22 is NNPC Zonal office. We're waiting at the car park.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Fellowhopefulll, goodmorning am back again, what terraco said is right from my own source, the total number of people that were selected is 500, that is OP, GT, EH and some 2008 GT candidate,s that was left when some of them was given appointment letter in march 2011. Infact i strongly believe that this is the month of glory, i will not be too surprise if the call comes anytime from now till friday, bcos everything is ready and settled, what is left as of on friday is for them to fix date of release and resumption, which i strongly believe there discussed the issue on saturday being there normal board monthly meeting, as days goes on the outcome will onfold itself.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
This guy has entered again as Vin20. I haven't seen a person with plenty mouths like you before. You purposely (or is it intentionally) use bad english on this thread to deceive people abi and you now saying you are back again, e k'abo sir. Everybody in the house should look at the part of Vin20's statement "which i strongly believe there
discussed the issue on saturday". In the past if you wanted to use THEY you would use THEIR but now in your "back-again" you used THEIR. Have you lost the paper you wrote all you the twisted words?

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
What A Drama!!
I was even optimistic that something fair may come out of this protest.. Though i'm not surprise by it's sucess so far, but i'm seriously overwhelm by cowardise of some of the depended members of the thread.
Now Those of you that are shallow minded.. I mean the real fools now know that the so called leaders of thiers are even afraid than even the least coward in this thread. Most of them are hiding(if at all they are there) looking for those who will push the protest to thier advantage.. I've said it before.. Only a brave candidate who is willing to stake his sucess on this employment will be first to be identify with the protest.
You Guys are really "newly improved fools" pls dont be overwhelm by the failure.. It's duely noted.
-

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
What a Comic relief this morning!!
Again, Going by the no. Of people saying they've been there at the agreed location for quite some and seeing anybody so far.. I think it's time u guys relax and change the name of thread to "NNPC COMEDY CENTRAL"
How can so many people arrive at the venue of the protest and wait for a long time and couldn't meet or discover a co-protester mistakenly.??
Haa..haa..haa.. It clearly shows nobody left his house. Everyone is probably there through the internet. And i wonder how they could locate one another online.
Welldone boys.!
Pls keep the Drama alive.. You guys are probably the best.
I cant even stop laughng..

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
I salute the hopefuls for taking a step in the right direction. I guess one of the main issues we did not address during our planning is how to identify fellow hopefuls at various venues since we are all anonymous. Some hopefuls would not want to disclose their identity which is understandable. I therefore want to stress the following points
- I salute the courage of all hopefuls that showed up in all the protest centres and assure them that their efforts will not be in vain.
- I want to urge us to re-strategise and plan again for the protest on an agreed date not later than next week.
- In other to solve the problem of identification at sites of protest (I was there but dint see anyone!) All hopefuls should wear /tie a black banner on their left arm. This should be visible so that the moment a hopeful sees a group tying such, all he/she needs to do is to approach them and ask if they are Hopefuls. This will make us identify each other easily and also keep our identities intact.
- I please urge us not to relent on our efforts, it is a simple logic anyone knows ‘NOTHING GOOD COMES EASY’.
- Once again fellow comrades’, I SALUTE YOUR COURAGE .lets plan again and agree on a new date.

Special thanks to @debrown.
Lagos Zonal HR Manager, Mrs Erile, spoke to us. She apologized for keeping us waiting and the delay in the process and she made a call to Abuja GGM HR who assure that the list is with the Board and they'll communicate to us soonest. We left at 11.45am
@JA, you were not at NNPC Zonal Office Ikoyi! We've finished from the Zonal office and we're back to Chicken Republic to chill out...if you come now you'll see us before we depart.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
My first ever comment on this thread. I really salute the bravery of the lagos zone comrades. Great work.
A point has been made and let them know that nigerian youth are not fools. I know government soonest is never soon...
But I wish everyone success when the letters will start rolling out...
Long live nigerian youth...
Long live federal republic of nigeria

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@Bebrief, 4gkevin, debrown et al, you guys are awesome, i thought we would be playing a home match at the lagos venue with intimidating numbers of hopefuls to grace the protest. @kaduna hopefuls, we can still restrategise and stage a comeback protest tomorrow.
-
@Bebrief and co., welldone. May God bless u. To other at other venues who tried, congratulations. U re beta dan sombody like me in ibadan who couldnt do anythng. Thank u all 4 ur courage.
