Vin20 and all: My bro has worked in NNPC for 5yrs, d last batch of GTs of 2007. His upfront never reach 4M. NNPC salaries use the principle of annual appraisal. The truth remains NNPC is a place for pple who are patient. In the interim, u won't like what you are paid bt as you grow, ur pay grows.

There was never a time PIB was the cause of the delay. Nov.2010 recruitment was meant to give it a safe landing. But providence has made the Nov.2010 Pre and Post PIB. Guys you might not believe this.... Did l hear 80%, yes l heard 80% of the "HOPEFULS" made it. NNPC balanced their budget with the passage of the 2012 appropriation bill, and there is nothing like the NNPC being insolvent after then. HR for NNPC can go ahead and send out the offer letters but for Board/Management orders.Quote:

GT & OP 100% merit take it or leave. You and l know that before now, there was no employment system for the NNPC, everything goes. But things are beginning to change, even though it tarrys wait for it for it will not tarry.
We had a little challenge before from the unions and contract staffs, who where challenging some of the new incentives that will start with the Nov.2010 Recruitment, but all of these has been resolved. We also had situations where a bunch of senior staffs SS2-SS5 especially challenging the EH recruitment process because their fear was that some of the Nov.2010 EH will come and boss them. So they petitioned the Process for EH, this was late last year. All these has been settled with promotions here and there, at the same time some tired hands were penciled for compulsory retirement(SVS). So then came the Subsidy probe, this should not affect the release of the offer letters because the NNPC is not a private owned business. If you are been probed for fraud, why should it affect the release of offer letters where provisions has been made and signed for. Events really overtook events in this recruitment exercise.
What else is holding the release of the offer letters?

Says who, NNPC has rebranded their pay ohh. On the overview be expecting between 150-250k net for OP, 200-300k net for GT, for EH it depends on entry level, 300-800k net for EH. Remember na for naira this money dey sound as e dey sound so. Multinational Oil and Gas Companies equivalent for even GT dey range in the neighborhood of $3000 to $4000 net. The Petroleum Training Institute Which is a parastatal of d Ministry Of Petroleum Resources, started a recruitment process in 2010/ early 2011, n just last week, Successful candidates were called upon to pick ur their letter of employment n they ar to resume Very soon.

Is it just a mere coincidence That a same parastatal with NNPC under d same Ministry just invited her hopefuls for resumption of work??

Min had signed , no more delay. even some1 said PTI under pet. ministry as NNPC rolled-out appointments last week I guessed Pet. Minister signed d lists together. God will make this week our week in IJN. All the best. It is not over until is over.
