So those waiting for PIB to be passed, like vin20 before receiving their letters,we need your intelligent analysis on this info. God bless.
i don,t believe she said so, bcos on thursday last week during nigeria economic council meeting NEC she admited that very very soon it will be presented to GEJ then NASS, but however the president can start implementing the programmes in pib without being passaged into law, afterall subsidy removal in january was part of the full deregulation programmes embbeded in pib, wch was implemented without passage, in anticipation that it will soon be passed.however i strongly believe whn ever the list is released, it will not take long the programme in pib will be implemented, especially that of the unbundle of thecoporation

One of the goals of the the PIB bill is to raise the confidence of investors in the petroleum sector in Nigeria, and so have more investment and development in this sector. This to be done by passing these 'policies' into laws and not just policies or regulations. Nobody can tell how long NASS will sit to approve this bill. Even GEJ,as some experts say, does not have the political will to sign this soon. However, our letters will come whether PIB or not. This is God's doing and it is marvelous in our sight. Shalom!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Nov.2010 Recruitment was permutated to give PIB a good start if you like a soft landing, they(Present Leadership of the Oil & Gas Industry) once thought it will be very easy passing the PIB into law. Don't forget Mr. President has not signed the 2012 budget into law despite the fact that the National Assembly has passed the budget. With the previous calculations, 2012 would have been a very recruitment year for NNPC Ltd(The supposedly new business name). 2012 recruitment would have been the much talked about Post PIB and not Nov.2010, as it is now providence has laid upon the process to our own favor to usher in Nov.2010 as Pre and at the same time Post PIB. The way things are going presently there will be no other recruitment this year. No love lost guys, everything worketh together for the good of the "HOPEFULS". The stakes keep rising as long as we wait, the percentage keeps increasing, the only danger about this whole thing is that NNPC will definitely loose some brilliant minds to some other Companies and this they are very much glad about because there will be substitutions coming from .......... .
If 80% of those interviewed are taken, l heard somebody say the higher the percentage taken the merrier.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
This recruitment self is getting out of hand. If it is cancelled for another one, will that solve the problem? 2008 started just like the 2010. And today, the difference is slime. I think we need a revolution in this country. Not bcos of the NNPC only. This problem cuts across all the sectors. Even those of the schools are even worst. Imagine one lecturer taken about seven programs. No power in the office, no good pay, no good research centers and many more. On individual basis, we pay for what we did not use. Just take PHCN for instance. Their bill is always coming from the moon even when no bulb lit ur home. And one man bcos he heard political appointmt wake up to have billions of naira.
We can't just be praying. Work has to match prayers to validate what ever purpose. Have u 4gotten some of the dreams of yester years? what do u think affected them? could it be too much prayers without work? How do u think ur dreams will come through? Is it when one man has taken everythg belonging to u and even ur unborn grandchildren to himself? I tell us, we are holding our faith behind us. we are holding back "change" in nigeria. But it cann't last too long.
-
@kalokalo, i dont think nnpc megastations are up to 15 years old now!
-
Dat is the info i got from my source.probably there is a mistake somewhere.but i am sure of wat i heard.cheers.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
