Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
the only explanation here may be dat NNPC n DPR are offering d Hopefuls' chances to politicians in order to save their own jobs in respect of dis subsidy probe.
Why d delay?
D budget's not any reason nor is d PIB. What's wrong wit calling successful ones to resume in 2 months time? There must b something fishy.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
Whatever it maybe, we will soon find out.
It is well!

what you claim to have heard is nothing but a lie. I've been monitoring every post on this forum and I hardly give a contrary opinion, but this yours, notwithstanding, calls for one. I know your mission is just to dampen the spirit that is already high, but I can assure by God that it'll not work. Go back to your source and tell him/her that I, personally, beg to disagree with him/her, and my God aslo does. Mine you, I also have people in NNPC; they are top management staff, and they never for once told me anything of such, rather, they've been assuring me of the huge transparency the entire exercise is carrying. The things delaying the release of letters have been the recent probe and budget defense, and that once all these are over, the letters will start rolling out. So stop posting what you feel for I also have 'sources' not a source.

I would seek unto God, and unto Godwould I commit my cause: Which doeth great thingsand unsearchable; marvellous things without number:Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth watersupon the fields: To set up on high those that be low;that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. Hedisappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their handscannot perform [their] enterprise. He taketh the wisein their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward iscarried headlong. Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@fredyjay, the same story was told by the other 10 spies to Moses. It was only Caleb and Joshua that said even though there are giants, even though the walls are very high we are well able to possess the land, because Jehovah has given us the land. @fredyjay, did you expect to get it without defeating the giants, without pulling down the high walls? Remember also, they could not enter their promise land because of unbelief. Any negative spirit injected into this forum DIEEEEE in Jesus name Amen.

who report are you going to believe? God's or man's.There is but one report which i will believe in and that is the one God has concerning this lingering process, and He has personally told me not to worry that He has settled everything(psalm 119:89), He also told me that the heart of kings are in His hand and like the rivers of water he turneth it whithersoever he willeth(proverbs 21:1) in this case whithersoever He willeth being to my favour.there is but one assurance i have, i donot know anyone in Towers that can be of any help to me, when i have the almighty as my helper.like the saying goes, it is the almighty that help the tailess cow ward off flies, my trust is in Him alone and ifnu must all know He has never failed me and He is not about to start that now.I have received my appointment letter in the spiritual fir His word say in (Hebrew 11:2) "for by it(faith)the elders obtained a good report".i am obtaining a good report from this process in Jesus name and so will all who vbelieve in these sayings of mine in jesus name.y'all welcome to your month of "appoinment letter receiving" in Jesus name. Shalom! u shall surely c - me - on - top.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
GT’s (2,690).
2,690 GT prospects were invited for interviews
The Underlisted are simply realistic projections of number of invitees for the GT interviews per state & region.
This projection does not cover for Ops, Experienced hires and Contractors, as it seems that the competitiveness amongst GT prospects is the highest, when compared to other categories.
This exercise is simply to manage expectations of prospective NNPC GT employees, and show why you must be grateful to God if finally selected.
South West (750) --- Ogun(175), Ondo(135), Osun(120), Ekiti(115), Oyo(105), Lagos(100)
South South(650)--- Delta(165), Edo(125), Rivers(125), Cross River(100), Akw-Ibom(80), Bayelsa (55)
South East(600)--- Imo(150), Anambra(135), Enugu(120), Abia(115), Ebonyi(80)
North Central(340)— Kwara(70), Kogi(70), Plateau(70), Benue(40), Nassarawa(35), Niger(30), FCT(25)
North West (200)— Kaduna(45), Kano(40), Sokoto(35), Katsina(30), Kebbi(20), Jigawa(15), Zamfara(15)
North East (150)- Borno(35), Taraba(30), Adamawa(30), Bauchi(30), Gombe(15), Yobe(15).
No-thanks and Thanks to Federal Character, equal number of candidates would be selected from each states, tentatively pegged at 10.
To be selected, you must meet at least two basic criteria.
(1) You must have the highest average score from your Local Government area in your state, no room for second best, except for special cases.
This implies that for Candidates A & B from Lagos state. Candidate A from Lagos state with a score of 70% can be picked, and Candidate B from Lagos state with a score of 80% is not picked, If Candidate B fails to meet the above criterion.
(2) You must have the best “10” or whatever no. to be selected highest average score from the bests of each local govt. from your state.
Ties in average score will be broken to favour the female gender i.e if a female candidate score is the same with a male candidate.
Opinions, rebuttals and criticisms are welcomed.
Wishing you all the best.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
so out of the estimated 4600 invited for interview gt was 2600, operators should be more than 1000 too, that means that eh is probablly less than 1000............can anybody verify this analysis/assumption?

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
AT ALL TRY NOT TO SEE ANY ONE TELLING YOU TO TRY AND REFOCUS URSELF ON OTHER THINGS OTHER THAN NNPC AS BEING NEGATIVE MINDED OR ARE U UNAWARE THAT ALL THESE STUFF CAN BE A FARCE? from experience i would say that the longer a recruitment process the more likelier that the intakes would be manipulated. as for me i learnt my own lesson from CHAMS 2010 MT's which actually sent out success mails for us to come and pik up appointment letters only for them to delay until it died a natural death but thank God right now that though i am not yet where i want to be ,the spirit of entrepreneurship is what i am focused on such that i can one day look back and say thank God i didnt get d employment. be wise , focus ur prayers on Nigeria as a whole being transformed nt just nnpc because as e dey now if dem say dey no go employ again u no go flog them , the best u can do is be ur own employer
-
The gt's would be responsible for developing policies and as well supervise the implementation of same. These policies will border on productions operations including processing and marketing etc. While, the trainee operators would be involved in the direct implementation of the above said policies.

Please Vin20 try to use "successful candidates" instead of ur constant use of "successive candidates". "aba" can't u at least learn from ur previous mistakes? and the many pointers to ur reckless use of the official language of communication in Nigeria. u've used this annoying "successive candidates" thing countless times not to talk of your other countless obvious blunders. It just sucks. For me I find ur loose fingers and poor sense of the English language very inconvenient. and stop all this ur "I don't know all" thing. u dont have to know all to speak basic English at ur level unless u've cut corners in ur educational food chain. I wonder how u coped with the English section of the NNPC aptitude test in the first place. My apologies for any obvious offence. Actually I have tried to hold my patience but each time I see u repeat those annoying lines I get so tempted to react.

@freeman, this issue had been long over flogged. So many comments, constructive criticism as well as heartfelt advice has been given to this guy. You don't need to come here and reopen it. If you don't understand what he has written and can't pick the message he is trying to pass across, simply skip it and move to the comment of the next contributor. Dnt come here and blab. If everyone criticize him negatively the way you just did then u make his situation irreparable. And for ur info there is no such thing as EDUCATIONAL FOOD CHAIN; its all grammatical jargon or conjunction of unrelated terminologies. What is food chain?? How did you come about educational food chain?? My friend be careful!!!!!!

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@ meet tope. This is unrealistic over correction from ur side. '' EDUCATIONAL FOOD CHAIN'' is a simple Metaphor like ''Growing Nation'' etc. nations are not living creatures, they're literally incapable of growth, yet the expression is accepted. pls revisit ur high School note on English Literature, or read something on figures of speech. Pls criticise wisely don't contaminate Knowledge or restrict English to ur meagre stock of vocabulary.

Criticism, whether constructive or destructive, is not a bad thing. It's, actually, a very good thing. You just have to take it and use it to your own advantage. Advocating for Vin20 will not help him step up his grammar. You not, atleast somehow, telling him his obvious mistakes will not help neither. How can a graduate keeps saying ''successive candidates'' when contexually, the phrase should be ''successful candidates'' and you're saying he should be ignored and shouldn't be corrected? Are you this selfish and cruel?
@Vin20, don't ever be mad over any criticism. Learn from it by taking correction(s).

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
For the first time since the inception of this thread, I laughed so hard that my ribs almost cracked.
@ABCD123, pls leave our Vin20 alone...I dey beg you! His PIB theory might turn out to be right at the end, who knows? But let's keep getting his info. Whether "Vin20" a guy or a lady, I admire his/her humility...some folks wuld have packed up and long forgotten with the pressure we put on him.
@Vin20, please keep up the spirit. But try and show more "love" and "care" with your written English. I believe you can do better... Your name seems now increasingly synonymous with the infamous PIB, which many prefer not mentioned.
A new bit of information. I visited DHL office in Abuja where I was told they are yet to receive any letters after the interview invitations. I also spoke with DHL's NNPC desk officer on phone and who confirmed what I was told at their office, but he admitted the letters are anticipated anytime soon and he will inform me when it's received for dispatch.
Let's continue in prayers and keep hope alive!
