My brother be patient, get the job first and when you see your letter those things will be spelt out.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
PPl should leave money matter alone. The main issue is letter. During my interview one of the interviewer ask me of my present pay and subsequently said that there were no much difference with theres. I told him that it goes beyond salary. So, when we get there by His grace will shall cross it by His grace. And mind us that its not ethical to discuss salary on a thread like this particularly 4 an organization. ppl in the same level can do but not with some one outside or with coded names as we all hv right away in this thread. Good morning to all hopefuls.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
@Papa-CC, d assault on d guy is simply unwarranted. U can do better dn that: perhaps instead of bandying or arguing about figures, u can simply give us d update on what is still holding d letters. U r lifted!
-
Lol. I'll try.
Do u have any addition concerning the recruitment exercise, besides what we know? And is it true ur upfront for the year is yet to be paid.

What is the use waiting all these while, hoping against hope when all of a sudden: SHAZAM a "List" in quote will come from the Presidency and they will be called just like that to resume. Then what is all the Holabula about Petroleum subsidy probe?, the much talked about reducing corruption in the FABRIC of Nigeria. What is the need of bringing in the stakeholders, the high and mighty in the nations Oil and Gas Sector to the glare of public ridicule questioning them about stolen Billions when they too are guilty as sinned. Who is fooling who???. In as much as l find this "list from the presidency" hard to believe with the present situation of things, If eventually this is true, then Nigeria has not spent money yet on fuel subsidy....
One thing is certain about the NNPC and DPR recruitments, which is they are bound to employ with or without the passage of the PIB.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
NNPC na job for lazy men. Of what use being excited. We'll probably get employed with no job to do. Just collect salary at month end and speak english, while the plants remain shutdown.
-
Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
It hurts me knowing that this employment drive is just to fulfill campaign promise of creating employment. Is the corporation really understaffed? Me, i don't think so. Although i beleive that technical competency of the majority of staff is low. Trust Nigerians as evident from interactions on this thread, we know how to speak english, but lack technical competency. Indian road since technicians boss Nigerian graduates simply because they are technical and pragmatic, while our guys are full of stories, sorry, theories.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
My pple whic level o. U dont ve 2 worry ursef 2 death bcos in naija, it is d more u look d less u see.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
If NNPC is serious, there will be no need to employ when there is no justification for that. People gather together to eat money. Doing 20% work and going home with 100% pay. Too bad i will say.

We need to begin to think differently, except you see it, think it and feel it, you cannot get it. God told Abraham as far as your eyes can see that have l given you. In the midst of all of these shambos going on, there are some who see opportunities for change and sincerely believe they are elements of change. I beg to disagree with your comments, Business as usual is what has kept this nation where it is today. China and the greater part of the Asian continents stood up to the challenge, with there enormous human resource today they are the 2nd largest Economy with the hopes of becoming no.1 in the next 10yrs.
There will be plenty of work to do in NNPC my dear, after the passage of the PIB & the actualisations of the gas revolution championed by the Petroleum Ministry. NNPC will become focused and those without the right "mindset" will be shown the way out. I urge us in this forum not to have the mentality of NNPC na job for lazy man, things are bound to change and they will begin to change for the better.
Even if you find yourself after you are duely employed by the NNPC in a department or an office where you virtually have nothing to do, rather than sit down and do nothing, you can redefine the terms of reference or scope of activities in that department or office and get things going. These and many more are the essence of oral interviews, to get those that have the potentials for change, those that are innovative enough to put an organisation on the right track.
Plainly put, they are employing you now to get the refineries running..... See you on induction day..AMEN

The moves according to sources in the National Assembly followed series of revelations from the ongoing investigation by the Rep. Faruk Lawan-led ad-hoc committee in which the affected officials engaged in buck-passing and blame games over the allege fraud. Other officials whose heads were being sought by the MPs according to a lawmaker who does not want to be mentioned, include the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Products Pricking and Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) Reginald Stanley and the Managing Director of the Pipeline and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) Haruna Momoh. “We are moving a motion on the floor of the House under matters of urgent public importance on Tuesday next week in which we will call for the outright suspension of the affected officials who are now under investigation by our ad-hoc committee.”
He added: “It is only natural that they step aside pending the outcome of the investigation. Already, 120 members have endorsed the motion and we are gathering more signatures before the Tuesday session,” the legislator said. The lawmakers, according to sources, will be probing the activities of oil and gas sector big guns, and the membership of the panel “should be drawn from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), the media, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Independent Corrupt Practices and other offenses Commission (ICPC) and the Nigeria Police Force.
If this move succeeded, then we are all fucked.

@ sidimury. So be it. We trust in Him. The Everlasting that Who giveth more than what NNPC has to offer

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls
If the system is clean and healthy, the better for Nigerians, both employed and unemployed. So, its on the interest of us if this rot is cleaned. Definitely there will be some good ones that such move will affect, but its in the large interest. Ad-hoc committee probing the mgt of subsidy should kick them all out. The next line of heads will seat up unto their responsibility.

Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

look house representative decision is mainly advisory to executive, for example they decision on sunday 8th of jan that jonathan shd reverse his decision on subsidy removal, did not stand, and minister of justice said it is just an advice to the executive, however the list will be release this month.
-
