As for me, the only reason why i stick to this thread up to now was not becouse of what my source or any reliable informant said... Rather what i saw in my dream, this is not the first time, it happened a day before the call for aptitude test i saw my self collecting my aptitude test invitation letter and it happened the next day, similarly a day before they started inviting for interview it also happened. To God who made me i also dreamt a day before the release of the appointment letter, In my dream i have collected my letter and thank the almighty Allah then i woke up suprisingly enougth the next day i start seeing testimonies on this thread..At this moment i believe the God that shown me my letter twice in my dream will never fail me in the third one I thank him alone and iam still thanking him cos it's just a matter of time before i share my testimony on this thread.. I strongly believe in what i saw i believe it will surely come if not NNPC then it will be one of the giant as i am involved in the selection process of two of the major giants. May Allah count us among.. The second batch is very very true if only you believe. Enjoy your day.

I sincerely like this comment. To God, i had similar experience: i did have a dream i checked my name in the list of the successful ones, alas my name was conspicuously found and not only that, i found names of two of my friends who participated in the interview too. The reason why i believe this was true is that before i got my former job in the banking industry too, i had similar dream where i saw my name and those of my 4 friends in the successful list. To my suprise, me and the 4friends were all called to resume but at different times - like months interval. So, i believe critical recruitment of high interest like this NNPC stuff will not be an exemption. As i said earlier, i WILL give my testimony on this thread, that is why i have left ds forum yet: second batch is a reality!

I wonder why we (including myself) cannot just put this NNPC issue behind us and face other things. I have never in my life been swayed around like this before, both mentally and emotionally. I urge us to please try to calm down and just forge ahead. It is well. Who knows, some of us may begin to see brighter rays of hope emerging in our life's horizon even before the 30 days as suggested by JA. God have mercy on us all

@ readalittlemore,the reason is not far fetched.the recruitment took so long,and our minds have been programmed to its existence.what we are experiencin is emotionally similar to hertbrake.dont be too hard on yourself.visit the tred wen u like and tink about the process.the strenght to move on will come wen it is tym.

Kalokalo, U r very correct. Time heals wounds. Let me give u example. 28 days interval, Andy Murray was in tears and in joy. Losing to Federer 28 days ago for the wimbledon title and fast forward this last sunday he won Olympic Gold beating same man. Do not judge urself by today.

The second batch we are all talking about is the waitin list.i am 100% sure of its existence.the big quesation is who will make the list.also,that d corporation has resolved to recruit only 116 operators,is a fact i cant undastand.makin d waitin list is like pushin a camel tru d needle eye.anybody who gets in tru dis is more favoured in d eyes of God dan those who got d first batch.infact,that person is an elect of the almighty.

dis modsquad self.wat is d catch 4u.i luv ur spirit man.@kalokalo,i kip asking same question.6 yrs ago,nnpc recriuted 600 operators n 6yrs later,they recruited 116 operators.WHY?even ma friend dat made it in2 d corperation 2006 as an operator said many had left 4rm dat 600.he was sayin he xpected 800 OPS dis tym around.bt na 116 so far.

@surj & kalokalo, our prayer should just be that they release d 2nd batch and that we should be counted among the favoured. As for comparison btw d 2006 number and this one one, I don't think there's anything that bins them to not employing less than they previously did. Of course logic demands that the number should not be less, but what if they justify the need for just a few few this time around. What is of interest to me (and I think many others too) is that they release this list and our names should be there. Father, have mercy on us!

Surj, I want this over and many successful 2. I want to join too. A country grows and develops based the purchasing power of its citizens. In developed world, there are 3 critical variables for the man in office/those running the Economy. 1. GDP, 2. Unempoyment figures (or new jobs per month) 3. Consumer spendings. The 3rd stimulates the Economy as a result the earlier 2. The more NNPC employs the more the 3rd is achieved. So that anybody who has ideas will see people that buy.
Imagine the growth in the spendings and how our economy was stimulated before banking wahala came in 2008.
