Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

@Jesus Army, A friend you can rely on, a fighter and a compatriot without hesitation broke the whole jist about the intending 2010 recruitment exercise. Though he has been a victim of several onslaughts by the NNPC and the NNPC thread, he remained. As qualitative as his info’s, he grinds it all when blind faith is needed. He broke the news about the then 2010 recruitment campaign by the NNPC and several other vital info’s. Jesus Army not a 2010 hopeful but desirous of a status change like every other person would be. So he is a Hopeful within.
A good entrant by Jesus Army..

Brethren, happy New Year. The year 2011 has been prophetically declared as one of breakthrough unlimited. For members of this forum, it is my prayers’ and desire that this prophecy finds expression in your lives.
I have been out of the office for some time, attending a professional course abroad. I have been away from my system. I returned to meet several mails and requests. I also had to find time to do some verification before I give the house an update.
Good news. The NNPC recruitment is still on course. Several contracts have been awarded in this regard and consultants mobilized. It was reflected in the 2010 supplementary budget, so it cannot be aborted. It also has presidential consent. It would be ignorant to compare the DPR and the NNPC recruitment. The DG DPR acted without approval to carry out that recruitment exercise, and if not that he is a very senior official and a personal friend of Mr. President, he would have been dismissed. He has however been re-deployed. For house members who have contacts within the various SBUs, you will agree with me that there are several vacant seats/offices waiting to be occupied by you-in Jesus name. Also, hitherto non existing jobs are to be created by this recruitment/ re-structuring.
The NNPC is being restructured with a 70/30 technical and non technical ratio in mind. This will give the organization focus to carry out its obligation. There are also several new agencies and SBUs to be created, in which many of the present intakes would be pioneers.
The PDP primaries slowed down the process, but I can assure you that the project is on course. Targets are still expected to be met. The hon. Minster has been frequenting her home state, Bayelsa, to muster support for the president’s re-election bid. Also she is involved in sensitizing women in her home state and her husband’s state towards the on-going voters registration exercise. So political activities, one way or the other slowed down the process, but we are back to work. Ok.
CONTRACT STAFFS. The contract for the contract staffs/ executive selection process was given to KPMG. My contacts among the consulting team confirm to me that many of the selected candidates are Nigerian academicians resident and practicing outside the country.
After the ministerial approval, it is expected that they would be contacted and interviewed on phone, while another personal and physical interview would be scheduled for the London (UK) office of the NNPC.
This may likely be a very expensive process, as the cost of transportation and hotel accommodation would be given consideration-na pounds o, no be naira. So only the required may be called up.
EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS-The contract for experienced professionals was awarded to the University of Ibadan consults LTD. I am informed that 43% of the downloaded applications were voided for improper completion process.12% was voided because of the strange and unrecognized foreign institutions they attended-none were members of this forum in Jesus name.
After ministerial approval, successful candidates would be contacted by email and text message, for an interview that would include a representative of the consulting firm, representative of GGM HR and line/ discipline lead. Dates and venues are presently being arranged. A two (2) weeks orientation program would conclude the process, after medicals have been taken into consideration.
GRADUATE TRAINEES/ TECHNOLOGISTS- the graduate trainee/ technologists recruitment was awarded in four (4) trenches.
A) Selection
B) Test administration
C) Screening / interview
D) Training
My contacts at Adexen consults who are handling the selection process say over 60% of the applications received were voided for several reasons including, being unqualified, incomplete application and multiple applications. However about 72,000 were successful-including all members of this forum. How many are they inviting for the tests? I don’t know, depends on their budget. But good news is that the GT and technologists intake has been increased to 10 per state, but with a strict 70/30 technical bias.
Of course, we are aware that Nexus Alliance LTD would be conducting the training at its various centres’ across the nation, Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt and Kaduna. The contract for test administration and screening is being shrouded in secrecy. However I’m suspecting that Michael Stevens consult and TAA consultancy, would take either
i need to address this seriously. from the aboved, there is no place for written test for the contract staffs. however, dependent on large numbers, discipline leads could include a written test to weed off some in the experienced professionals area. this would strictly be on your competence area. you should have a working knowledge of the petroleum industry, PIB, NEPAD, NEEDS, MDG, and vision 20 20 20. the graduate trainee should prepare for what is termed general entry requirement test made up of 3 papers a) numeracy b) verbal reasoning c) current affairs- this would include your knowledge of the petroleum industry, PIB, NEPAD, NEEDS, MDG and vision 20 20 20. the fourth 4th paper is specific to discipline and its expanse as wide as neccesary.
there is no need looking for formats. this is the first of its kind.
stay blessed.
To keep faith with the huge task demanded of him by the NNPC thread, and largely remain an employee of the corporation; he finds it difficult as would be any other person to castigate his employers. A position you will never like to find yourself in, he decides to start speaking in parables……

To know Jesus Army is to do the various threads listed in bracket (NNPC-RECRUITMENT-POSITION, NNPC 2010 CONTINUATION COMMENCES, NNPC EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS-INVITATION FOR EXAMS ). He offered selfless assistance to several queries concerning the process then, more than ever he preached faith

we received the report in the office early today.
however, it does not emanate from the nnpc. if it does you would be the first to know.
however, security agents have been drafted to the venue, as spies, to catch the bastards.

I think more than ever before, the house mates should be on their knees, on this matter. everything concerning the process has been pinned down, including the cheque for transportation.. It was, at the last meeting, pegged at 10 graduate trainees per state, 10 trainee operators per state. I’m not aware that it has been changed. A graduate trainee in 2008 earned about 70k. Presently its about 140k. tax inclusive. Can we be sober now, and intreat the Lord on this process. Then the issues with JA….

1. He once said he was not a 2010 Hopeful, it is either he did not make it pass the test phase, or he did not apply at all. Then how do you reconcile this with his other statements about him not been a 2010 hopeful. This tends to show some phony character.

the work of PCL has been thrown away.

What more do we need to know, this is a genuine informant and somewhere things became so bleak. The hopefuls have shown how resilient and how dogged faith can be exercised. Today there is a shout of joy for the release of appointment letters. This is not to discredit anyone but to tell us that we can only say yes, mean it and go for it no matter the odds.

Nnpc 2010 continuation commences

@Animontee; I know, a lot of persons on this thread might have forgotten about him. A very consistent and trusted fellow in the NNPC thread with lots of genuine info but he fizzled away for reasons best known to him.

What he said in Sept 8th 2011, is primarily what has metamorphosed to be the release of the first batch of the appointment letters. The figures to be taken by the NNPC as posted by Animontee here bears some resemblance with that of Terraco on the 19th April 2012

However, I was reliably informed by a Senior Staff of NNPC {handling the GT Training Programme}, that they are making provision for a maximum of 500 GT. Thus, the remaning 240 - 300 slots will be shared among EH, OP, and Contract Hires.

Thus, I had to go to the Towers today to make the confirmation myself {eventhough the rigours of having access inside the Towers was something else.....with all the harrassment from stern-looking Policemen, Kings Guard Security personnel, and NNPC security officers}. By 2:07pm I was in Block C, 7th Floor {NNPC Training Dept}....... brothers and sisters, the news I heard wasn't what I expected, it only corroborated the earlier info I got from the PPMC Account Staff. I've repeatedly asked my source if the process has been cancelled, but the Training Officer assured me that it hasn't. Only that it has been temporally suspended {however, no concrete reasons were given for the suspension of the recruitment process, but it seems there's a "cold war" between good & evil within NNPC}. We need everybody to be on their knees, as it's only God now that can make our dreams to materialize. I'm feeling sick inside, as I had earlier made up my mind on receiving my letter by October ending................... Honestly, I hope they are all wrong!!!!

There's virtually nobody in NNPC that can guarantee influencing the ongoing recruitment exercise!!! I stand to be corrected.... Yes it's true that I've made some posts on this thread on some exclusive info I received from the Towers: but that doesn't in anyway mean that those NNPC Staff can influence anything in my favour. If I may add, I'm working in one of the notable Commercial Banks in Abuja {with high proximity to the Towers} as a Marketing Officer. I managed NNPC Co-operative accounts, Take placements {Fixed Deposits} from their Finance & Accounts Department, as well as managed some of the NNPC Staff's personal accounts. The goodnews is, this current recruitment ranks amongs the best ever, in terms of transparency!!! The Petroleum Minister is bent on employing the best brains available {except for the quota system, which gives undue advantage to some candidates from certain States}. Do you know that, one of my Senior colleagues whose brother is a GM in NNPC wasn't even invited for the interview....despite all his attempts to come in thru the "back-door" ? I know others that got letters from the Presidency, National Assembly principal officers, etc that were not considered for Interview!!!!! You that pass the Aptitude Test, was invited for the Interview, who did you know to facilitate all that for you ......the answer is nobody!! You can quote me anywhere, this exercise is based purely on merit & quota system advantage!!! Re: A new thread for NNPC Hopefuls

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?" The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way. "I wrote: 'Today is a beautiful day; but I cannot see it.'"Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign reminded people how fortunate they were to have their sight. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective? Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear. It's a beautiful thing to see a person smiling. But even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason for the smile!Faith is not about everything turning out OK. Faith is about being OK no matter how things turn out. If you appreciate this message, please share. You may touch someone's heart today and forever. Have a beautiful Sunday!

Pls go and read PIB very well , its is available for public now, its just NA to pass it to law after FEC had approved it. NNPC is unbundled and in the next 2 years it will be listed in NSE. Corruption will be minimised. PIB would bring about new companies with commercialization from NNPC. National Oil Company Ltd, National Gas Company, Asset Management etc are new companies. We must appreciate the efforts of Min of Pet f and President Jonathan for taking the giant steps in Nigerian oil and gas.

PIB is the solution to NNPC problem , now NNPC would be commercial viable as GMD had said its first speech, no more redunndancy at NNPC, NNPC must work for itself. B4 NNPC just dey do Joint Ventures, Joint Ventures. let NNPC do its our exploration , production, refineries, we shall see how Nigeria will turn to. Many candidates would be called in last recruitment, the first set in smaller fraction, many letters are coming out. Get ur right info.

Its now Nigerian leaders know what to do with our oil and gas, there aere millions of opportunities Nigerian govt would have derived from oil for national devpt. Kudos to Diezaini and Jonathan's led-admin fro taking giant steps in putting PIB out. People would be graduating from Engineering school, the jobs would be ready for them if PIB is justly implemented to the core in the next years to come. NOC would be competing with foreign oiul companies. All those rubbish they are doing in nigerian oil and gas, PIB will address it.
