@ st_jude AMEN!!!
@ st_jude AMEN!!!
A big Amen to the prayer according to St - Jude!
I hope the minister will release the list before her press address, for her ministry achiement in last one year in office from may 29th, so that she can include the people taken as her ministry achiement, just like what she said during her 100days in office frm may 29th to 2nd week in sept that her ministry has employed about 320 people, in wch she mentioned the courses wch each candidate studied, and i equally hope that before then or even that day, she should have made catigorical statement that her ministry have succeeded in harmonising different version of pib and it is ready for representation to national assembly for passage, finally i hope and pray all these happen from now till three weeks time.
@ Vin20 pls when is she going to give the press briefing?
If I told you that the night is almost over, and the sun will shine upon your face...will you promise me that you will dance before the Father..cos there's so much in life you must embrace..#snippets from Marcus Cole's song: Remember to Breathe#Reflect on this brethren, it is well..
St jude, i don,t know the date but i know that some minstries have done theirs last thursday, and i believe her own will be from now till three weeks time.
I don't blame u at all. U still believe an ordinary bill can actually make a whole ministry not to recruit even in batches?
In her defence during d subsidy probe, d minister of petroleum resources claimed dat some of 2008 candidates were called n dat d process wasn't entirely cancelled. That is a LIE!
On her 200 days in office from May 29 '11, she also claimed dat d ministry had employed over 300 ppl (which are supposed to b d DPR candidates still waiting endlessly).
Again dis yr she said dat d PIB is reponsible for our endless wait. A go-ahead order was den given to her to set up a commitee dat'l bring abt a harmonised version adaptable to our oil industry n economy. That she did n has almost concluded d task. Why den wait for its complete passage by d NASS.
I smell foul play here. Some people r not just telling d truth. Haven't u thought of it dis way; dat d list has been severely doctored ifo d lawmakers' candidates so as not to accept her recommended sack by d Farouk-led subsidy panel. An early release of d list might make her unfavoured by d lawmakers buh a late release wil surely b a tool for blackmail if it doesn't turn in her favour.
Just a couple of weeks ago d Customs released deir list n over 500 made it to training. D ministry of Interior alone has taken over 2500 already in less dan a yr, d health ministry took over 3500, d finance ministry took over 1200, d Education ministry took over 6000, d Works minsitry created over 10,000 opportuinities, d defence ministry about 2000, d police about 1500, n d Petroleum ministry?.
Enough of dese PIB stories. It's just her excuse n not her agenda. Somtin must be up her sleeves. As far as we'r concerned, d Petroleum n Finance ministries have eployed d least despite d fact dat dey preach employment d most n have ministers who do away with Jombo salaries more dan any other minister. The case of d Petroleum ministry is worst n I believe dat's y d Farouk-led panel recommended their sack.
Bros eeee! Make u shine ur eyes!
@vin20 i love ur observation andparticularly ur tone. Optimistic but not wt any finality. This way u raise nobody's BP. I joined in sayng amen to the prayer. We need an end to this waiting.
@kafox ur post is quite educative. it sheds light on the personality of this woman. Let hweva hope her admitting that people were recruited indicates that one day some hopefuls will get called. If she has lied it then she must need to somday produce concrete evidence.
Kafox and others pls i will like u guys to ask ur source, the main reason or what is causing the delay or hindring the release of our letter,s, bcos budget have been sign into law, and even if the budget is not sign in law, the president has power to spend upto 50% of the total budget pending when it is passed into law. And still DPR recruitment has stayed upto or over 25months till pending, and NNPC recruitment has stayed 18months till pending, so waiting for ur findings.
Vin20 what else? PIB of course!! U satisfied
Look, PIB favours private participation n dereby creating more opportuinities n less supervision(govt jobs) rather dan govt jobs. So if u really think PIB is gonna double d list better start having a rethink.
