The germans use their native language to design and manufacure their cars. so also the japanese. if you start to analyse all the words you used, you would be surprised that most of them were originally greek/latin or french. india resorted to the use of vanacular in her education system, and in no time she got into the ten most industrialised nation in the world! lagos, which claims to be the centre of excellence, proposed to adopt yoruba as a language of business in her house of assembly. i attended a class that had russians, greeks, polish, chinese etc these people were struggling with both oral and written english at class, yet the few native speakers of the queen's english never made jest of any of them. the tutors too, most of whom were english, tried to support them, and not "condemn" them. an english family i had met didn't hide their sympathy towards me at the fact that i, and most other africans, is abandoning my native language. therefore, you cannot impress or intimidate (as the case may be) anybody here. you are making a laughing stock of yourself!
