tips on those likely to be called and reasons.
1 . those that scored high during the computer based test,30 and above. they are assumed to have higher iq
2. those that are studing courses directly related to oil and gas.it is believed we need more man power in these areas.
3. those that are going for courses related to their first degrees .believe there is continuity and will do better.
4 those who made first class and second class upper division.believe they are more brillant.
5 those going for more specialised course,the are nt favvourably disposed to those going for safety management ,project management etc
6 those who GOD HAS DESTINED TO BE IN THE LIST.
THE LIST WILL BE OUT TOMOROW .GOOD LUCK TO ALL.

thanks @cacking ,the funny part of the post is that i did not meet all the things i suggested,am just assuming ,from the nature of their questions during the interview.so @slimikenna,dont get angry .when i was in university ,after each each exam i will assume what i willl score and write it down,it has been a practice am used to.wish all success

Frankly I dont know how the interviewers determined what to ask who. But I know that while others laughed as they sang their national anthem, I was seriously considering bailing out from the room during my 'interrogation'. As wiseguy said it wasnt funny for us, it seemed to me they knew more about my course than I did and I had to work hard to defend myself. Anyway, time shall tell if it was for my own good. whatever happens, when the list comes out we can still compare the name of the beneficiaries to those that were called for d interview.
The Interview/Aptitude Test was 0n a 60/40 basis.
Now every interviewee was given a numerical score based on their performance.I must say that the interview was very unstructured and did not have any outlined criteria for assessing the interviewees.Questions were thrown at random and from every unimaginable field.Some guy said he was asked to recite the national pledge while another claimed he was asked to list the course modules of his proposed course.
In all this however, I believe the following criteria summarizes your score at the interview.
1.Your Dress Code
2.Boldness and Charisma.
3.Diction and ability to express yourself intelligently.
4.Knowledge about your course of study.
5.Ability to impress the panel.
After this session,every candidate is given a score.At this point in time the list is handed over to the NDDC.The commission then take top scorers and applies other criteria.
1.How relevant is your course to the Oil and Gas Industry and NDDC?
2.What is the rank of your school and the duration of your course?
3.Nigerian Factor.
At this point,those who were at the top of the list may find themselves below due to criteria 1 and 2 above.Criteria 3 then brings in their replacement.
So it is not so much your performance that counts.
However in all of this the God Factor counts most.Wish you well.

My frnd is travellling out moro, he's sch starts soon.. Assuming his name will be included as a beneficiary, what shuld he do b4 leaving moro to US as regards d induction and other processes by nddc here in Nig?
@e thang,so ur friend has the funds to start ,thats good its better for him ,i dont think the induction will be compulsory,it will just be a media event for them to show off,he should just keep in touch they will direct him on what to do,those that got theirs last year should be in a better positon to advice him .

I think you guys should keep your fingers crossed, and stop getting yourselves all worked up..just keep waiting and keep believing that you would be a beneficiary for the award..there's really no gain in worrying..if only worrying could hand over the letter of award into your hands..what causes worry? Fear!
