As 4 wen the final list will be out, we were told by one of the directors who happened to be 1 of the interviewers on the day I had mine, that within 2weeks after the last day of interviews,the list will be out. So,it implies dt we should wait 4 it from 27th July to 10th August...all the best guys!

Guy your analogy is wrong. Companies don't recruit based on our degrees that is why they organise an aptitude test. It is from that aptiude test that they will base thier judgements not our degrees. That is also why NDDC organise the test for us. I was only interested in the other factors cos I was just wondering how the oral interview will form the basis of selection, people will do well in the oral interview. Now that you have highlighted some other factors that will be used, I am glad.

Yes, some people can speak about the problem of corruption in NDDC because they are not corrupt themselves and they are not depending on any connection to get it or have not also forged any document. I believe not everybody can be outspoken like them.

Keep hope alive. Keep faith Alive. Don't let the negativity of what happens in the interview hall or the Ills of the society deter you. We were the ones praising NDDC for coming up with the CBT, where you will see your score at the end of the exams and thereby know your stands. At least they've proof to be transparent for once. I'm pweety sure you didnt buy any form to apply for this s'ship, meaning you can't compare them with PTDF whr people buy forms to apply and yet uncertainty still occurs.

Do your Best and leave the rest for God, don't forget to envisage where you will be by September. That I know veri veri well.

hello! due to circumstances beyond my control, i may not be able to arrive the venue of the interview scheduled to hołd tomorrow at the time quoted.....from my calculations i may get there around 10/11am. as i write this i am still on the road. i hope they were not too strict about the time one arrives

I was interviewed today. pls the require the reference code they gave u when u first submitted the application form, though not compulsory but is required. I was lucky to go with mine. the allowance is 10k regardless how u came and where u are from. What amazed me today was some scores I saw for candidates aptitude test. people were scoring 52 and above for a test that took 30 minutes for 60 questions where more than 40 of the questions were calculations and without calculator! I reserve my comment but we have a long way to go in this country!

No just make sure u get there that day thats all but be early cos I dont know their closing time.

The questions where different from others‘, but be sure they wil ask u questions about ur course of study and probably one current affair. Imagine asking me about what was discussed at the senate meeting d day before my interview when i was on the road travelling and no time to listen to news or read papers! That was the only question i cud not answer. BY GOD grace i know i will pass!

Yes and make photocopies of all credentials and ID card or tavelling passport

@Abamhon1 it is funny for you to think it is impossible to score above 50 in an aptitude test within a short time, are you aware that some people have mastered the skill of answering aptitude test(GMAT) questions, some have crammed or are familiar with most GMAT questions after doing series of job tests...do you know what they call elimination method? there are some questions your instinct just tells you can't be the answer and it help you narrow your options, so you don't find yourself making excuses in future test. I guess you are insinuating they must have seen the question, if they have that influence then they shouldn't even do the test in the first place, they should just get on the final list without going through test and interviews. let us appreciate and commend people, no need for envious comments, the final list is not out and some people are already sounding like loosers. Everyone knows we have our systemic lapses in Nigeria, we easily try to take out the splinter in someone's eye when we have a log in our eyes. I am a current beneficiary of this scheme, going by what I hear, I think NDDC has improved with the selection process by introducing the test. to an extent it is more objective than using only interviews. The truth is there are a lot of qualified people but certain measures have to be used to screen people out, this happens everywhere in the world. I am studying in the UK and I tell you connection plays a key role in getting things done, they call is "referral", "reference". they ask who you know in the organisation. the only difference is that in Nigeria incompetent people get employed because of who they know but in developed countries it is Connection+competence=Job/scholarship/grant so let's stop flogging this things and be sure that we are deserving of whatever we pursue and be optimistic! keep hope alive!

I even heard someone scored 57, though I was to busy searching for my name that did not have the time to view people scores! I was just airing my view and that does not warrant u calling me all sort of names! I dont believe in connections and godfatherism but on God only and mind u am very optimistic. I think ur critism of my comment is too harsh.

@Agbamhon1 so u think i criticised ur comment very funny, i had to read tru my comments again to see if i called u names. I hear you! u don't need connections when your school or potential employers ask u for referees tell them God is your Referee. let those that have ears hear.

@Agbamhon1 no one scored 57, the highest is 52. Someone can score dat naa. NDDC is trying their best.

Thanks for your correction. I saw the list when it was passed around. 52 was the highest, followed by 51, 49, 46, 45, 44, 42, 41,40,39 and the way down. Delta state got 52 and Edo state got 51. The 52-candidate didn't even come on his interview date!

Mine wasn't a chat at all!. I was grilled deeply on my course and I mean like "what countries 'practice this and that' that are recommended in my research proposal, define this and that(about my course), what d role of govt in that area so far (we had a bit of intellectual debate here)?. Only then did they want to know why i came back after my msc (i.e will I do same after my phd?). In all, it wasnt the 'chat and smile type' , I tried to smile though especially to encourage those who came after me. Somehow I prefer being rembered as 'the guy we had that intellectual debate with' than just blending in and not being remembered after the interview. I've done my part, NOW OVER TO YOU JEHOVAH OVER DO!

There's nothing to fret about the Interview sha. What I've finally discovered are:

1) If you don't have NYSC sowi dear.

2) If your course is less relevance to NDDC and u were not able to convince them sowi dear

3) If you don't have admission letter, and you let them bliv that you dnt have it and u can't av it. Whoa whoa whoa. Sowi dear

4) If your dress wasn't Inviting and your flow was shaky sowi dear. Coz I discoved a particular panelist ws puttin dwn smt on paper abt us the moment we open that door.

5) If u dnt have International passport, drivin' license or u hav (conditional admission.) Sowi to myself. This is whr i get stuck, I bliv I tried lettin' em knw that is less important.

6) If your program is 2,3,4,5,6yrs......Lol U beta let em knw that you can pay for the rest o, if they are into 1 or 2yrs only.

If you haven't done yet. I think this is more than an advice. If you'v done, then dont fret. It simply means you should step up in your prayer. Moreover, who are the panelist to say no when God say's YES. Dnt 4get anythin is possible. As for me I knw whr I'll be by THE END OF SEPTEMBER. GOODLUCK TO Y'ALL. KEEP FAITH ALIVE

Okay guys, for those of us that are joining me to the UK, I'm planning to traveling to the UK before the olympics end, at least I need to have a little olympic experience before it ends. So when the list is out, will we still be required to travel to Port Harcourt again to do some documentation or they will just contact the school and make the necessary payments. Na guys I need watch olympic live small abi wetin una think.

@Cacking: good thought, it has crosserd my mind a while too, but, the snag will be the induction ceremony which, I hear, will be a media thing and inductees (successful scholars) will need to be in attendance.

You don't have to come back from the UK. Just give someone letter of authority to collect ur award letter. That was the reason the lady asked you to put down someone phoneline that can get the letter on your behalf. I hope no one gave out his girlfriend's number should they quarrel before then. lol

Wait oh is this work of Ogokoro or Faith? cos am not aware they have already awarded anyone yet or even collected all the data together yet because others are still left to be interviewed so am not entirely sure what you guys mean by being in attendance for the award ceremony?
