Yes d 200 ppl included MSc and PhD from all the niger delta states. PhD candidates were present. To me d ppl der ddnt look like dey were up to 200 tho, I heard sm1 say ds is d merit list but I rili dnt knw and I can't confirm d validity of dt information. About you being present I also don't know but what I do knw is dt u need to sign ur acceptance form and ur guarantor also needs to do same. You also need to sign dt u collected d original award letter. I don't hav any contact person in NDDC, I js listened, queued, filled d form picked up my award letter and acceptance form and left d place.

Belive it, if u did'nt recieve the sms ur name is not on the list. But no harm in trying.

...and lo it came to pass.Those of us who weren't contacted should please, pick up their pieces and forge ahead. You ain't gonna die because of NDDC. I earlier said that those who would get this offer had been penciled down by God; no matter how hard we prayed, what would be would be.

Please when NDDC starts that of next year, you guys shouldn't hesitate to publish the link on this wall. I'm still interested in their overseas postgraduate scholarship offer.

Congratulations to all those that got the award whether through "runs" or divine intervention. The whole process to me, looks like a largely influenced balloting or lottery as the case may be. For those of us that didn't get the award even though we are well qualified and did very well in NDDC's supposed interview, it is not over. Let us look beyond NDDC and explore other means of funding. As for me, I will be sending a mail to defer my admission with Howard and Michigan Technological University today.
Also, I will like to apprise the house that NDDC board had been sacked yesterday. Read the details on The Sun News On-line |

No wonder!!! so they had to quickly do the jingbo and send coded text messages, so that their special candidates will quickly benefit from their yeye "runs". God knows what's best for each and everyone that wasn't contacted. We just have put this behind us and forge ahead for better things that are in line waiting for us. Well sha, thank you NDDC for the N10,000.

Sometimes I just think, Does it mean I can never profit from such programmes-PTDF, Exxonmobil, etc now NDDC with AGIP pending/outstanding...wheeew..
My heart bleeds but what more can we do than that which we have done...We all knew not all of us would make it...
First and foremost, let's even thank GOD that the scholarship was awarded before the dissolution of the board yesterday...
As for people like me whose hopes were very high and now it looks crushed,always remember some even applied and never got the chance to be interviewed........
Since you had the boldness to do it the first time, always know you can do it again; It is not over until Victory is sure......
Let's keep forging ahead...At least, I know that those who have been visiting this site for the past 24hours are mostly those who weren't successful....I think its high time we lay this issue to rest

I just joined this forum few days ago but 've been following this thread for a long time.. I know of a friend who did not get an sms but showed up yday and his name was on the list.. not trying to raise hopes or anythg but if you're in the PH area you could walk in and check or get someone to help you do that..
