I have seen and read a lot bible quotation here. is good to have faith and confidence in God. My advice is that rather than loose your admission, simply defer it. The important thing is to get the scholarship.virtually all schools will stop registration this Friday the 15th of October. Everything about the names of successful candidate in the interview has been concluded. By weekend or early next week the results will be out. I was confidently told by an insider that the level of transparency attached to the selection process was very high

So dose dat are above 30 who have admision 2pursue masters abroad are not eligible?wt is dis country turnin into?

@gikwu, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but this is really not where u should be venting this. This thread has gone way past all that. Truth be told, put urself in the shoes of the organizers, they just want to control the number of applicants. Anyway, all the best in ur endeavours.

@anachour. Please how will they do the VISA process and for some of us that the date line for registration in schools have pass?. Is the selection base on those who have their addmission starting January

@Kufree It depends on the school,some schools have jan admission while some have only sept.U may nid to contact ur school and speak with them one on one.
@all Defer your admission to jan,july or sept if u can.I wish us all best of luck.

No cause for alarm if ur school deadline is past. The most important thing is to be awarded the scholarship.

2) Are they going to pay directly to the school or what?

3) Can you change the school you submitted to NDDC, if you have another admission.

@Trust God, i believe and i say AMEN to it. This is gonna be the best month ever. I believe God has done. Hopeful NNDC scholars just keep thanking GOD in advance and ur expectation shall not be cut short. From a reliable source, the list will bepasted this week or early next week. Cheers.

One of the NDDC hopefuls actually has 7 offers from top 20 UK universities.

The one he submitted to NDDC was for September 20th and that has passed but luckily he still has 6 others within which 3 are for October resumption.

The good part is that all 7 offers are for the same course so if he makes it through he won't need to defer but simply tell NDDC that he would be changing schools in order to use the scholarship and avoid the uncertainties of deferring the scholarship which isn't sure because this is the maiden edition.

I think its reasonable and will be accepted.

My admissions are in USA, this one u r mentioning only UK schools

I really hope the NDDC scholarship list is pasted soon. If it lingers any longer then it means it's been overtaken by the Nigerian factor. One NDDC commission said the project has not been abandoned neither have any scholars been sent,but he thinks the MD travelled. Thats why the thing's been on hold. I really want to believe that.

i intentionally didn't answer those questions because I had answered same in 2 different places so I suggest you always take your time to read previous posts before jumping to the last page.

If ur sch does nt defer admision then apply again. Do so fast. One thing am sure of is dat d scholarship has nt b abandond. NDDC is very very aware of d situatn. Ur prayers shud b 4 ur name 2 b shortlistd

For the people going to the US, have they collected their I-20 from the school and awaiting scholarship or They are waiting for the scholarship to use to collect the I-20.

I-20 is the document used to collect visa at the US embassy

I am asking because my I-20 has been sent and I don't know whether I should go and collect the visa and chill till the scholarship clicks or I should just be patient. You they are not processing the visas.

What do you think?

...past and present Nigerian Governments have failed...because they have not been able to justify and maximize the huge resources at their disposal to deliver on mere basic infrastructures like roads, electricity and hospitals...but they continue to lie on NTA...

...the NDDC 2010 foreign postgraduate scholarship has failed...because a project becomes a failure when it can not satisfy her three core objectives of cost, quality and "schedule" .e.g. if South Africa's new sporting facilities (stadia) were not ready (as scheduled) before the 2010 FIFA world cup commencemnt date, the event would have at that point been tagged a failure...but NDDC has continued to lie...the MD said September 2010 to punch newspapers, the Director that addressed us shortly before the interviews said the list will be out by 24th of September...but today is 21st of October...

I would advice those that know people in NDDC, should ask them the situation of things. Tell them to answer realistically. Am sure when they see that you are calm enough to hear the true situation of things. Then you would be told whats really going on.

But I know the NDDC Scholarship is for real and there would be good reports but its the timing of the release of the list that I don't know

I dont know why people give information that is not concrete,those that said it will come out by dis week,what is d source of their information,i dont see it coming out dis month bcos NDDC is silent about it and schools ave resumed already .Scholarchip is given 2 months or 1 months b4 the commencement of d programme and now most schools ave resumed about or close to a months.Rumours suggested the lists is on the presidential desk,only God know when it will leave d desk

D man dat adres u on d day of d interview is strict. Once is out 4 publication I will knw bcos one of my link there is in charge of publicatn
