could the people invited have been up to 200 based on those that turned up?
Did dey chek d sms invitation? i.e did anybody gatecrash?
@Emma.MSC , easy to gate crash but hard to be interviewed since they are calling names base on their list.
As for today, total turn out should be about 120 or so. I cant tell how many will come 2 morro.
@Emma msc,I am from Edo state my local government is ovia north east and my interview holds 2morow,,@donkane I downloaded my recommendation where they demanded for other documents
Good day all,
I want to ask if any phd applicant has been sent the sms?
@ triple o, do u have oil in your area. I want to know if it is only does from oil producing areas dat have been invited?
It is well o! So like play like play, the whole hoola baloo is over.
any news from NDDC scholarship
Hello all, congrats to those that made it to the interview stage. Was any Phd applicant interviewed yesterday?
@engrharry, triple o n others, do u know if guys 4rm edo state has been interviewed if yes, how many?
Please who knows if any gate crasher was interviewed.
i intend to gate crash but dont know if they are strictly interviewing by their list
Guys dat have been interviewed 2day, were gatecrashers interviewed bcos I am on my way to PH
It is strickly on invitation. They have their list of invites. Gate crashers came with fake sms and invitation latter but were embarassed and almost handed over to the MOPOL. The problem is that some invited applicant never showed up. Like in cross river
@engrhary, thanks u ve been very open n helpful in dis forum. I wish others were like u. One more question- are d interviews over, wil there b one 2moro n wen did dey say d result wil come out?
Gatecrashing is not advisable. D way it is run, they've already made up deir minds on d kind of scholarships they'll give. I figure some people were disqualified simply by what they studied at the undergraduate level or by what they intend to study at post grad.
One thing that has characterized this whole process is gross inefficiency and the highest level of disorganization imaginable. It's embarrassing that you want to give scholarships to people to go into a country where they need to first acclimatize with the new environment, people, geography, society, weather and the educational system and then you do it in such a crash manner! Was no feasibility study done? I don't mean to be nasty or ungrateful because I was invited and it went well but we must call a spade what it is or we'll keep deteriorating in this country (no mention of improvement, I'm not a believer). Schools resume in September and then you invite people from all over the country in the middle of the month only to tell some; "your state is scheduled for tomorrow"! Such crass!
Mehn! I'm pained... I weep for this country!
Abia and Imo will be interview today and maybe the spill over of yesterday.
was any1 with 2:2 invited
I want to congratulate those who received the invitation for the interview, i wish u well as you enter another phase of life..for those who where not invited , don't be weighed down put yourself together when its your time nothing can stop you ;)
People from Abia and Imo, did they finish interviewing you guys yesterday?
Abia and Imo interview went well. The interview is barely presentation of one's document and screening.Gatecrashers were bounced and told to hangon for nxt year. They said they will get back to us nxt wk monday, don't see the feasibility though.
For those that weren't invited, pls give it a shot again nxt year,it's worth trying since the really don't have scope in course selection.
Goodluck every1 and thanks for been communicative n interactive.
guys how far, any info as concerns the interview. When is it coming out?
ondo is part of NDDC. But i thing you are lateQuote:

Assuming you arrived late, the presenting director (not the MD) said he was new on the board and presented the issue of the importance of scholarships over road construction, etc...and the board adopted his presentation and the budget (for 200 candidates) was approved in early September which is why they made late calls and he also said everything would be concluded this week so people can start processing their visas and travels.
Someone asked if a PhD candidate was interviewed...YES! A lady from Cross River was interviewed for an Engineering Design (Robotics) program and I'm sure a few others would be given opportunities.
As far as I'm concerned, this has been the best and fairest selection process in recent years...considering the fact that it was approved this year (maiden edition), funds were approved a week before text messages were sent out and they have also vowed to round up selection this week.
Though 200 candidates would be given scholarships, they have stated that the figure might double next year because the board has found that educating the nddc youth is a better project than the other projects nddc embarks on.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and be hopeful!
@Peaceofpeace, please do you have an idea of how much will be paid for the scholarship?,
Rumours suggest about N6m but I think it'l depend on the various fees and costs because some fees in top schools alone are a little over N4m so they'l balance everything.
Let's pray for the calls this week.
Cheers!
When is d result of d interview will be released
Nobody knows...just keep your phone lines open.
@peaceofpeace: do you think the number of people interviewed were up to 200. Also how do you think the slection will be done(i.e will it be 200 divided by the 9 nddc states)
Nddc interview when is the result going to be released
you should be reading past post before asking questions. Your question had been answered by peaceofpeace.Ask another thingQuote:

On the other hand, it will only be fair if they divide 200 by the 9 states to sponsor 22 each from a state but since some states can't fill their positions they might use a factor which has to do with the intensity of Oil and Gas activities currently occurring in the various states; meaning states like Delta and Rivers may have more than 22 candidates sponsored while some will have less than the 22.
I'm not at all sure of what I said above but the 2 suggestions are possibilities.
Let's keep praying for the calls because most schools have started.
Regards,
guys any info.
guys let keep the tread alive by sharing every little info concearning the interview outcome. I cant even sleep again, always checking my phone for any sms. May God help us. Amen
[email protected] be only you o.
Late registration will soon start for some schools and the fear is even the 28 days required for visa processing.
Lets keep hoping.
A guy with username vision leader i guess he knows an insider in NNDC,i said dis bcos of his comment on 12th Sept,he said he just confirmed from NDDC.i beg vision leader, help us confirm when the final list will be out,as for me,i keep checking my phone for sms, checking my mail, checkind their site, searching thru goggle everyminute to know d latest and i cant but check dailies every day.The man that addressed us on 14th said by latest today 24th,that dey will reach us.most school in uk resume by 27th Sept and 4th Oct,no school will give more than two weeks extension. Processing uk visa is for 15days as i was told or for 21days.it is not 28days for uk
@paulolawale, yes i do have contacts inside NDDC but i havent actually spoken to them since i tried in vain to get interviewed even when i was not invited. but as at our last discussion, he said they will fast-track the process but i also know that the MD of NDDC is under a lot of pressure from political associates to include names even when they werent called fr interview.. i wish i know one of the so-called associates. lol
Seriously i do not know why it is taking too long for them to bring the names, maybe some last minute mago mago dey go on. the contact in NDDc i know is not in the MD's office from where this Scholarship is being managed. I may get intouch with him though but all i can say "stay calm". God can make all things turn out for ur good.
as for the visa process, use an agent. (like PFL - 017611277). it will take only 5working days. that was how long mine took and i have it already.
Goodluck.
I fear that the only thing they're doing right now is political manipulation of that selection process. People who put in honest effort but have no long legs might just be disappointed... Too bad! Nigeria at 50! God help us!
At this stage, all we have to do, is pray to God almighty for his favour.
JEHOVAH is my political associate,my sword and shield in time of battle I have no reason to fear,He was in charge of my invite for a successful interview,@all my name is in that list weather they like it or not,God works to perfection, guys no need to fear if only you believe that God can do all things, just keep praying for the MD for God`s direction and also for yourself.GOD`S light will definitely shine on us all.If u believe it say AMEN.
…the NDDC interview result is taking longer than expected, why?…the answer is found in why the Israelites journey that was suppose to take 40days elongated to 40yrs and includes the following:
…THE MOST HIGH GOD wanted to achieve the following; discipline, humble, test and know what was in the heart of the Israelites. HE also wanted them to know that man does not live by bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD...(see Deuteronomy 8: 2-10 and Exodus 13: 17-18 quoted below)…
The foregoing spurs me (this instrument) to state as follows:
i. If you were called for the interview; Hear Ye The Word of the Lord: the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong… but time and chance happeneth to them all…(see Ecclesiastes 9:11 quoted below)…
ii. If you weren’t called for the interview; Hear Ye The Word of the Lord…for with God all things are possible...(see Mark 10:27 quoted below)…
…for those of us who were or weren’t called for the interview but have unwavering faith in JEHOVAH: According to Your Faith Be It Unto You, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth your names are among the chosen 200 NDDC scholars…(Read Matthew 9:27-31 and Acts 3:6)…
…In conclusion, please let us not be too excited or busy not to praise GOD and say “Thank You Lord” after we have collected our offer letters…see you in NDDC office next week to collect our letters…
Deuteronomy 8: 2-10…2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD. 4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. 5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you. 6 Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in his ways and revering him. 7 For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. 10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you….
Exodus 13:17-18…When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt." 18 So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. [a] The Israelites went up out of Egypt armed for battle.
Ecclesiastes 9:11…11I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all...
Mark 10:27…And Jesus looking upon them saith, with men [it is] impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible…
Matthew 9: 27-31…27And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. 28And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country….
ACTS 3:6…Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk…
