Emma.MSc, Obashell is a forum member like you, he's not a staff of NDDC. You really shouldn't just come to the forum and say "ObaShell give us info". I don't think it's right. I guess if he has, he will bring it to everyone's notice although in reality, he owes no one any responsibility.

Yeah, got d text msg. Awfully short notice for someone not in PH. The msg reads;

You have been shortlisted for NDDC 2010 Post-Graduate Foreign Scholarship interview, scheduled as follows: Date: 14th, Sept. 2010 Venue: Landmark Hotels, No 4 Nworlu street, off Olu-Obasanjo Road, D-Line, Port Harcourt. Time: 9am Please bring along original copies of the following items: CV, Letter of Admission, Transcript and Certificate, WAEC or SSCE certificate, Birth Certificate, Local Government Identification Letter,Data page of International Passport, Recommendation letter from National Assembly member or High Class Chief, Five photocopies each of all documents, Registration slip.

I think this is grossly inefficient of them to request for these at such short notice. Well...

Please what number did they send the text with, because I got a text yesterday but mistakenly deleted without reading it becasue I thought it was one of those junk text. The text I got was from 3100....thanks...

Hey guys, has anybody from Edo State received an invitation?

I doubt if anyone from Edo state has gotten a text message or is there anyone out there who has?

Am processing my study permit for canada, and i have sent my original certificates to the embassey for verification. Please what do i do, since i have just gotten a text to come for the NDDC interview with original copies of credentials

Has any Phd applicant received an sms? Also, I don't want to believe that they expect those that reside in Lagos to jet out immediately on such short notice. If not, too bad...

@Emma, i am from Edo state and av not gotten the text message plz if you r frm Edo state and have gotten the text kindly identify your self...
But i feel NDDC needs to improve on how they organise things of this magnitude...taking a look at the txt donkane recieved how do u expect some1 to act within such short notice...Besides Some uk schools are about to resume i just pray thing works out well... ???

I just confirmed from NDDC that they are only considering those with 2:1. Also, I do not know of anyone from Edo state who has received invitation.
I am still expecting. It is well.

Hi all, it is really appalling the way things are run in dis country. I have to leave my work and miss an interview with Unilever because of this thing. Imagine the list of requirements and I got the text at about 6pm on Sunday!!! Anyways, am on my way to PH from Lagos. I just wanna justify dat I did my best no matter d outcome. Ya'll relax, it is very ok. The level of intelligence and awareness u portray on the forum bespeaks a lot of maturity and capability. It's just a matter of time...

But I still have an enquiry, are they still sending out text messages or they are done because time is of the essence if they would not be responsible for securing student visas.

Why should NDDC be treating Edo state indigenes like this it is totally unfair

perhaps there are many edo indigenes that have been called but are not on this forum. besides, i do not think realistically that they award scholarship to niger deltans without giving to Edo indigenes - that would spark numerous high level criticisims which am not sure the MD is going to savor. As i said earlier, Lets keep all fingers crossed. Who says tomorow alone is the interview date?

I am from Edo Sttate and have not received an IV. i asked dat question bcos i wanted to know if it was only guys from the core Niger Delta States(Delta, rivers and Bayelsa, if u dont know) dat have been invited.
I hope we receive our IV soon. Time no dey again

has anybody that did not attach a recommendation letter being called for the interview, also has anyone from Ondo Statebeing invited for the interview.

hello house, I got an invite from NDDC on sunday too sorry I am a bit late concerning this info I have been trying to run around for the requirements, I am from EDO state. @donkane and @abadademosi I was able to attach my recommendation letter I think it depends on the size you used.

@ all, when I applied at nddc.gov,, no link was sent to my email to complete my registration. i just applied directly. did anybody else apply like this?

Triple O, please confirm the information you are giving. Everyone can attest to the fact that there was no provision in the application for the recommendation letter. It was only for the LG certificate which eventually appeared in place of the passport on the slip. Please clarify. Thanks.

for the lucky ones that were interviewed, how did it go?
and any sign of them calling more people? also, do you in your estimation think those invited were up to 200?
it's painful not have been invited as this was the one big funding avenue i had opened. school resumes next wednesday and i do not have a dime yet! God help me!!

NDDC is the bomb, Far better than PTDF. They will be giving 200 people the scholarship. This was said by the MD, who came to address us. Thank you NDDC for the 10,000 transport allowance.

So how many people were invited for the interveiw and is there any indication that they will still call more people up.

At the moment, they have finish interviewing Ondo state and Cross river, remaining rivers,delta and Akwa ibom. The remaining Nddc state will be interviewed 2morro. So many people from cross rivers state did not turn up. The interview is based on invitation.

No sir, Edo, Imo,Bayelsa Is for 2morro. We from Akwa Ibom are just waiting, pending if they finish with rivers on time. If not, we will be the first set to be interview 2morro.
