First and foremost I wish to say that before a candidate comes here to post a new/fresh topic,its good to check and make sure the same thing hasnt been talked about elsewhere...I direct that caution to 'Adelowoeasyman'.

I believe this is the maiden edition of this training program and the first set to write the test will do so on MONDAY 29TH NOVEMBER so until then no one would give concrete details on the test format and areas of concentration except an insider of NDDC.

i was also invited for the test.mine was slated for monday nov 29,2010.There was no time(whether 8 or 9 am) in the message.Wondering if this was deliberate or an oversight.All effort to get across to the Gsm number reflecting on the text message proved abortive.Wanted to know if anybody got a message reflecting the time for the exam.please a feedback in anticipation

NB: Also my test message reflected NDDC petroleum Engineering/Geology scholarship written exam.guess this is kind of different from the thread - as per the scholarship thing. My fellows kindly prevail on this.

I also got d IV, I think the test will not be too different from dat 1 of the NDDC/UNITAR Training exam dat was held last week or so, cos it was handled by the same company.

Please guys do u think it is possible to take the text a day after you where invited I was invited to take the test on the 29th(NDDC petroleum Engineering/Geology scholarship test) but I am have a clash in date with another program.your advice will help me a lot Thanks

u guys r funny.if your text says scholarship exams then prepare with your G-MAT and if it says drilling exams like mine says guys be prepared for drilling engineering test format like that in G-MAT.its obviously written so expect some german obj format too.thats what i believe they want to do.scholarship tests seem to be on monday while drilling tests on tuesday.(correct me if i am wrong).success to all of us invited.

correcting my last post,i learn't that its online test and not written.then its good.also Davo says :WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T STOP THE TIMER YOURSELF OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.But he said something abt writing a general test first and then an alternative to practical the next day with specific skills test.ours might just be direct drilling questions only.also while applying then,if u can recall there is a test,successful candidates will be called for medicals and eye fitness test also,.and u r on your way to France.

i got a text too and my exams is slated for tuesday 30th 2010...can someone reason with this my feeling -that the test (abi na exam...anyhow sha) will be something close to that written by the NDDC UNITAR oil industry specific training. on this note, can someone in the house who took the test give us some hints...thanks and one love!

@Cipha, I want to agree with u here. The NDDC/UNITAR Oil Industry Specific Skill Training Scheme exam was handled by the same outfit - interlinks technologies, an IT outfit. I suspect the exam will be computer based jst like the NDDC/UNITAR exam. goodluck all!

@ cipha: i also got the sms for test on the 29th(monday) novenber,2010. please, what was the unitar test like. pls respond asap as this will determine if i will go for it considering the fact that i ve to travel from lag to port and as such want to be sure that i am prepared for it

Guys dont try to b rude to some 1 who is trying to help. Already dis samy guy has made a coment about d test considering d one he did on 9th and 10th nov. He said dat it was a computer based test of 50 qustns consistn of maths,english,logic and coding.all for 60 min.no biro,cal.pencil,eraser. Also d next day he was kald 4 alternative to prac.and interview. Even if dis is a forum, u pay to browse d internet. Do u knw if he has enough cash to spend more time repeating d same tin he has said b4. If u feel u r not satisfied with his info why dont u make dat sacrifise and kal him. He is not forcing any 1 to kal,so dont speak bad about him. Its very wrong.if u want to ask him any personal questn,i feel u should kal and ask,if its smth dat would help d house,u can post ur conservation wit him here whn u hv gotten a response. Thanx

@Adelowoeasyman, @cuteguy. In case u dnt know, there r more than 4 threads on dis same topic/issue and I've posted comments on all of them regarding this same thing. Haven't I tried!? next time, look around and checkout things 1st b4 being apprehensive, saying wat u dnt knw. Besides, what do i stand to gain by keeping such info to myself. If can use my hard earned credit to call, send txt to guys dat I dnt even know and telling dem hw my own exam went and looked like. Den WHY cant U dat claim to knw too mush, call me? Even on page 2 of dis thread, i made a commnet about d indiscriminate posting of too many threads on 1 issue. It's not ideal and i feel we shud try and limit it or better still STOP it. Um...to be fair to Adelowoeasy man, I think he was only trying to prevent a situation where the purpose of this online forum is defeated. However, the manner in which he attacked davo was a bit out of line. That said and done, lets work together for a common purpose- gainful employment.
