Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission
(NAEC)
3-Month Bridging Programme (3MBP), 2nd Batch, 2013
Introduction
The Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC) in furtherance of its mandate to develop the framework and technical pathway to exploit, explore and harness the diverse applications of nuclear science and technology for the socio-economic development of Nigeria, is implementing a deliberate policy on Education and Training aimed at generating the critical mass of manpower needed to drive the national programme.
Consequently, NAEC advertised in three national newspapers on 4th January 2011 seeking to recruit fresh graduates in Science and Engineering for a 3-Month Bridging Programme (3MBP) in Nuclear Science and Nuclear Engineering.
An aptitude test will be conducted at examination centers in each of the six geo-political zones of the country. Details of the examination centers and the list of candidates per center as well as requirements for attendance at the examination centers will be communicated to candidates who successfully complete the registration process.
At the successful completion of the 3-Month Bridging Programme, the graduands would have acquired adequate foundation which would make them ready for post-graduate studies in Nuclear Science and Nuclear Engineering in support of the National Nuclear Power Programme, find employment as professionals in other nuclear science and technology programmes, or as academics in universities, polytechnics and nuclear research institutions nationwide.
