The main business commence,i was usher in and stood until offer a sit.i study computer engineering,so they ask such as,what operating system was used before window 7,what is SAP,what is the difference btw window 7 and vista and if am to used one which and you are to give reasons.they ask sum little history abt nnpc also.it was fine and the panel are friendly,the panel i did where 8men crew and you go in individually.pls guys try to get suit(cloth) to ginger there sswagger there.finally make sure you answer only wat you know cos dey will ask you another if u dont.lastly pls dont ask your interviewer to repeat himself cos i learnt you they will deduct frrm your marks.trust me on that final one.

Hunger was nabbing me because these NNPC guys were lounging and the aroma from their meals was so inviting (Please bring a little snack along). Well my interview went thus, I met 6 pple in my panel and they looked at my CV and said "We'v seen your CV now, tell us how we can ask you questions" Men I was astonished. So I shifted gears and guided them to my strong points. My current job and previous experience. All that and while I was doing all these, they were just laughing. I even called the leader of the panel MUMMY, then everyone burst into another round of laughter. It was a great experience. But I still say let God's will be done in our lives. If we don't get NNPC life goes on. Best of luck to everyone!!!

In my own view, you have said the truth in its very essence. But its like this "I WONT TELL" thread fueled by Kafox and Shampoo and a few others in their side of the divide has propagated to virtually every other thread on this NNPC issue. I thought the original thread was closed and that its all history now, only for me to get here and a clone of the same thread is raising its head again here. Mr Aliyu Sunday, I thought d issue's dead. Anyway, close to 1,400'v done their interviews already n let's say out of which 300 r members of NHJ. Of these, abt 20'v shared their questions ie 6.67percent. How am I sure dat u'ld hav been among these if u had done urs d 1st wk? And I tell u more dan 1,500'v read dis. I stil believe dat d best way of gettn d best set of ppl is by holding d interview simultaneously, aint it? But since d same set of panel members r supposed to give d assessment to get uniformity in judgement, it's to be 1 after d other. Dis's not exactly like a beauty contest where ur opponents'r dere as u'r asked questions. In dis case u cant hv same performances as when u know no experience at al as whn u'v gathered al d experiences frm others. Go ask yDA abt dis. God be wif u on 25th july. Regards.Quote:

I have called the Phone no on the invitation letter but nobody picks it. please advice cause am taking a risk from my job and travelling to ABJ for the interview.

Wao! I had my today. It ws sweet & friendly. I ws duely accredicted just as it has being discussed in dis thread. I ws in panel 2. We were 10 in number dat ws on ground 4 d position i applied 4. I ws d 8th person. Funny enough was 2 hausa guys who completely dressed in native. I ws supprised! B4 i ws called i hd prepared & had prayed 2 tie d panelist in spirit nt 2 ask me any questn dat could thro me off balance. It works! I wore confidence& wh dey were introducing themselves i nulde &replied wth nice 2 meet u. Thereafter, i introduce mysf. I ws askd d constituents elements of petroleum, initialy i was saying smthg else, d man was nt sactisfied& wth in microsecond i quickly know what he want & i resplied wth carbon& hydrogen! Immediately he kept quite meaning he was ok. Another man ask me what do i know abt NNPC & its contributions to nigerians & d nation at large. Another man ask me how do make provision 4 safety in wiring bcos i claimed 2 be involved wth wiring. I was also ask why am suitable 4 d post i applied 4. And last dey ask if i av any questn 4 dem. I respd by asking d lay down procedure 4 an employee 2 grow and develop wth a noble company like NNPC. My questn hit dem& dey shifted d response 2 one oe dem. He answered bt i was nt sactisfied bt i responded in a low tone 2 his response: excellent!!! I ws ask 2 take my leave& i left. So dat ws my own experience.
Note-d interview processes ends on 17th Aug, 2011 if nt shifted. As such we start count days 4 a response 4rm NNPC any moment immediately after dat date. So 2 those who are thru pls let relax and watch.
