We are a company that deals with general construction, construction of single family housing and civil engineering contract. Our Company was established in 1958 and was listed on the exchange since 1978.

We require a qualified candidate to fill this position.

Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, and directs work of Land surveyors engaged in surveying earth's surface to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining or other purposes: Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.
Coordinate findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with project.
Determine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey control.
Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
Develops new data from photogrammetric records.
Conducts land surveys for determination of boundary lines, retracement of government survey lines, and re-establishment of land survey corners.
Makes ties to subdivisions, property lines and government land corners.
Oversees the work of professional staff by making and reviewing work assignments, establishing priorities, coordinating activities, and resolving related work problems.
Set up and Restructure the Land Survey department

Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be a registered and accredited member of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria or any other International registered professional body for Surveyors.
At least 10 years of general land surveying experience; of which 5 years were as head of land surveying team.
A B.Sc. degree is required with a major in Surveying.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of land surveying.
Knowledgeable in land surveying, infrastructure, building drawing reading & drafting standards
Ability to work without supervision and able to use modern survey equipment and interpret report (Real Time GPS).
Knowledge of other surveying software will be an added advantage
Foreign trained Surveyors are encouraged to apply.
