In Nigeria, FHI is currently engaged in providing public health services and undertaking research in HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria and reproductive health in partnership with the Government of Nigeria, under funding from the United States aid programs as well as from the Global Fund and private foundations and corporations. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Research and Public Health Evaluation)
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Research & PHE), under the supervision of the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Research & PHE, will be responsible for generating new knowledge based on existing activities under the Global HIV/AIDS Initiative Nigeria (GHAIN) Project, and any new research projects that advance FHl's mission.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide technical assistance to ensure implementation of high quality research, surveillance and public health evaluation activities in Nigeria
•Conduct advanced data analysis to further research, surveillance and public health evaluation goals and objectives
•Conduct research and public health programs and link activities/ opportunities in Nigeria to ongoing research and public health evaluation activities in FHI
•Foster and maintain working relationship with researchers or interested stakeholders within the USAID Mission, other donors, national- and state-level Ministry of Health, local NGOs, international cooperative agencies and other in-country partners
•Participate in the quality of research and public health evaluation projects conducted in Nigeria
•Assist the Associate Director Research and PHE in managing research and PHE field work, including adherence to protocols, correct documentation, and working with consultants
•Promote and utilize best practices and other standards developed by international normative bodies
•Work with the Associate Director to liaise with FHI headquarters for relevant research capacity building, implementation and collaboration opportunities
•Actively seek and broker collaboration opportunities by communicating regularly with in-country partners to develop new research ideas, utilize research results, and scale-up promising programs

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, under the supervision of the Zonal Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and Zonal Manager, and with technical oversight from the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, will be responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the zonal office.
Key Responsibilities
•Work with other staff in the zonal office and local implementing partners to ensure that zonal monitoring and evaluation activities
are appropriate and meet donor and project M&E needs,
•Work with the zonal-level M&E staff and government counterparts to provide support and guidance on program/project monitoring and evaluation activities and on US Government and Government of Nigeria reporting requirements
•Provide support to sites in the zone, including interacting with site managers, M&E focal points, M&E officers of SACAISASCP, other implementing agencies and local research groups on needs, and ensuring that these parties understand and ,can support these requirements

Clinical Services Officer (LAMIS)
The Clinical Services Officer (LAMIS), under the supervision of the Zonal Senior Medical Services Advisor and the Zonal Manager will be responsible for the implementation of clinical and monitoring and evaluation activities including the Lafiya Management Information System (LAMIS) and the provision of technical and programmatic support for implementing high quality care/support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDS, TB, RH, 01 management, PMTCT, HAST and facility logistics management at the LAMIS/public health evaluation facilities in the zone.

•Supervise contact tracking of treatment defaulters, manage patients on ART as well as facility inventory and analyze patient outcomes and program service quality

Community Health Specialist
The Community Health Specialist will help provide technical assistance in the design, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of community health as well as LGA based health management especially with respect to integrated HIV/ AIDS, S/RH, TB and malaria at the LGA and State levels.
Key Responsibilities
•Coordinate and provide technical assistance for health system strengthening for the implementation of the LGA HAST model of HIV/AIDS, S/RH and TB care activities as well as the integration of malaria, MCH and all aspects of community and LGA management of health services
•Work closely with PHC coordinators, LGA TB supervisors, LACA coordinators, LGA malaria officers and other program officers in the LGA to monitor guidelines and recommendations related to the implementation of health system strengthening strategies in the LGA
•Facilitate the transfer of appropriate skills' to community health workers at the PHC, community volunteers, TBAs and people living with HIV and families for HIV/AIDS, STI, TB, malaria, MCH and the prevention, care and support for other diseases
•Work directly with the implementing partners (community-based organizations), LGA PHC coordinators, LGA TB supervisors, LACA coordinators, LGA welfare/women development officers and PHC personnel to facilitate the implementation of high quality HIV/AIDS, STI, TB, malaria and MCH services including OVC and NCD activities within the LGA
•Work closely with other staff of the GHAIN Medical Services Department to ensure synergy relevant to implementation and documentation of the LGA HAST model and health system strengthening components of state programs
•Work closely with the state TB control program, SACA, state malaria program and other organizations as may be relevant to the LGA health management and health system strategies
•Ensure close collaboration with other PHC and disease control programs within the LGA.
Minimum Requirements
•MBBS with at least 3 years post-NYSC experience in community health practice with experience in care and support for HIV/AIDS, STI and tuberculosis at the primary health facility or community level
•Postgraduate degree in public health
•Sound understanding of the district health systems and LGA TB technical areas and experience with ART programs
