IPS FORMAT?

please anyone in the house with the info on the format of the APT. TEST of IPS portharcourt.
and how many students they collect yearly.

I heard they take abt 20 persons,and the text format: It what I am looking for also so far I heard its basic year 2 stuffs! and a little of physics,maths and biology

last year was an electronic test for 1hr 15mins. furthermaths, physics, general thermo, current affair
(WHO IS THE Director of IPS, Obama was the - president, etc), chemistry.

I also think your total packaging:essay,recommendation,and how you answer questions in the form is an advantage.please for those guys that have filled the form already what did you mark in the space provided for how to pay for the program:self,company,or none. I am asking because of the scholarship they offer(I just want to be on d safe side)

you must read to pass the exams with those Area of concentration

150k Accomodation

Tuition will be handled by any of the oil coys they are just 20 in a class. I have never seen an IPS graduate spend more than 6 months at home

Yes they pay acceptance and accomodation fee, thats a token compared to how much Total pays for 1 person. School fees is about 15000 US dollars and u get free lunch, free books, free transport, etc

if one applies, how long does it take them to call for the test and interview?.......and do they ask for transcripts.
Are the test questions multichoice, is there anybody with the real format or what do you suggest we practice with....

Transcript is not necessary for the Application but NYSC discharge Certificate is a MUST.
I dont really know how long it takes to send invitations for test but I know well that the school (IPS) session starts from October every year.

Chemical Engineering. we all graduated from the Federal University located in your state of origin.
meanwhile the IPS forms closed today May 20, 2010 like the Advert said except if they decide to extend the deadline.
The course in IPS is Petroluem Engineering and Project Development.

ENGR) I PURCHASED THE FORM AND HAVE SUMMITED AS WELL LAST WEEK VIA A FRIEND IN UNIPORT.I APPLIED FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED COURSE.PLEASE JUST KEEP ME POSTED IF THERE IS A CHANGE IN THE TEST FORMAT.I AM PRESENTLY WORKING WITH THE ONE U POSTED EARLIER.

EL AZAR, i atually wanted to aply for the ips stuff, but my CGPA is 3.41 and I am not working. what should I do?

When are you applying for it? it is going to end today. besides they dont accept 2.2 in IPS. I will advise that you do not spend that money on it.

I called IPS this morning and they told me the test will come up on the 1st of July.Its a Thursday and i wonder why they should fix that on a weekday. It should have been a weekend xpecially for us that are workint. Also said the invite will be sent next week.But i was disappointed when the lady said they wont refund our t-fare.
So start preparing, PH gonna rock!

I logged on to the usual www.ipsng.org but it takes me to uniport's petroleum engineering site- completely different from the ips site linked with the international ifp. what's going on?

Are graduates with 2.1 in any physical/earth/applied sciences elligible to apply or is it strictly for Engr graduates?

It is strictly for Engineers, Any branch of Engineering

IPS have started inviting applicant go check your mail if you applied.
