TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with experience in Instrumentation & Control engineering in the Oil & Gas industry
2. COREN/NSE certification would be an added advantage
3. Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications
4. Installation of DCS, ESD, MMS, ITCC, F&GS, PLCs, SCADAs, Analyzers, PA system &field instruments.
5. Experienced in Field Instruments and Control Valve selection, calculation and detailed specifications
6. Experience with designing and supporting Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and High Integrity Pressure Protection Systems (HIPPS).
7. Ability to participate in risk management system sessions (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL)
8. A good working knowledge of liquid and gas metering system design and principles of operation.
9. Configuration & maintenance of DCS, SCADA, ESD, PLCs, F&G, BMS, PRDS & PA systems.
10. Specific working knowledge of at least two major DCSs, ESDs and PLCs
11.Optimizing and ensuring reliability of JB installations, cable routing, hook ups, loop and functional integrity.
12. Instrumentation design criteria, specifications and selection.
13. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ISA, B.S., ISO, API,IEC, EN, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA.
14. Control loop narratives, Logic Diagrams, Marshaling Drawings, SIL requirements, Instrument cable trays layout and practices, Revision and implementation of P&IDs.
15. Instrument cost estimation, including installations.
16. Machine Monitoring Systems and field probes, Installation and servicing of Control Valves, MOVs, scanners, and local controllers
17. Calibrations of Analyzers and field instruments
18. Interface with electrical drives
19. Should have good oral & written communication skill for reporting departmental activities, generating records, reports and equipment history.
